i have bangs and after a couple of hours, my bangs look oily and seperate.

i want to keep that soft, dry look like right after you wash and blow dry your hair.

i used hairspray and hair gel to prevent it too!

you should probably start by using a clarifying shampoo to get rid of all that build up.
dont put conditioner on the hair that touchs your head. only the ends no roots

hairspray and gel will cause the clumping of the bangs...cause thats what they do, they bind your hair together.

yeah, dont put conditioner on your roots...and try not to shampoo every single day (strips your scalp of natural oils so your scalp tries to compensate by producing more oils faster...), teach your scalp to "lubricate" less and slower by shampooing every other day (at the most).
