Okay so basically i have the wierdest sleeping pattern ever. i would usually end up taking a nap in the afternoon more like overnapping since my nap usually takes five hours? lol and then i would wake up at 12am or oneish and then i would end up staying awake onwards so in the afternoon in school i would really be tired and sleepy its really getting anoying now i did tried limiting my nap but then... so i was thinkning of going to see a doctor and ask for some sort of slipping pill but my friend said it wasnt advisable so do you guys have any suggestions?

so, you're getting 5 hours of sleep a day? u could try going to the doctor and ask what might be good (they probably wont even prescribe you a sleeping pill, they may just give you tips). but when you wake up at 12AM, dont go on the computer, it'll make you stay awake...there's also an insomnia thread a few pages back, read it.

sounds a bit like me, only i sleep for 4 hrs straight after uni, get up around 9 for dinner etc, linger around till 3am and sleep, then get up at 6.30am. it's not good, but it's turned into a habit. this isnt advice at all, sorry. what i'm trying to do though is not take the nap so i'd be tired enough to sleep earlier
