So this isn't my personal experience, but my friend who lives down the hall from me.
She was coming back from the library around 11:30pm and her door was locked and the lights were off
.... of course she assumes her roommate isn't there... who wouldn't?
But little did she know that when she unlocked the door would she find her roommate and her newly found boy toy
(seriously they've been dating for less than a week) having a little.... fun.

She came over to my room, scarred. LOL. Believe me, I would be, too.

I am much more fortunate. There was this one time I went out to this party and got a bit too loose. When I came back to my room, the door was liked. Our door was never locked! I assumed that nobody was in my room. When I entered the room, I saw my roommate and his girlfriend in the room, one on the computer and one on the bed. I asked them, "Why was the door lock?" Of course, even though I was drunk, I knew the answer as soon as I asked it. I ducked my head and went straight to bed.

My roommate has walked in on me and my boyfriend several times, but it usually causes hysterical laughter and shrieks rather than awkwardness. We've lived together for four years, though, and she's really good friends with my boyfriend.

I'm a light sleeper so once my roommate brought a girl over and did his "bidnessss", I got too uncomfortable and pretended to get up to go use the bathroom.
I just borrowed my friend's pillow and slept in the TV lounge.

I went to my friends dorm once because he forgot his wallet...we thought his roommate was sleeping, but he was really doing 'other things' and ran to his bed when he heard the door open

Haha, I remember back in first year I was fooling around with my girlfriend under the blankets (with clothes on though ), and suddenly someone started unlocking the door and the light turned on. Before we knew it, we were both shot up and were sitting up straight on the bed looking at her roommate and her roommate's mom! But I'm 99% sure they knew what was going on because of their weird looks and our own messy hair and flushed faces haha...

Yeah, I came back an hour earlier from class than I said I would be (the professor let us out earlier) and I caught her having sex with her boyfriend. They were doing it on top of the covers so I basically saw everything. Anyways, I moved out because her attitude about it sucked and I didn't feel comfortable in the room anymore.
