I know it defeats the whole purpose of MSN having a feature for users to appear offline, but I just want to know, is this possible?

I don't think there are. But that's just me..lol. However, i do remember a malware/spyware program..that used to go around....saying that it allowed you to see who was blocking you..."block checker" or something like that. Man..it gave me a headache removing it from all my friends computers. Sorry for going off topic...but yeah..i'd like...to know myself if such a program like that exists. A legit one..i mean..hehe.

I don't think it's possible, Neil ^__-.
There is meebo.com that lets you know if the person is blocking you or not, but I've never come across a program letting you know about the other user's status.

There is I believe, its like an addon patched. However, another person using the same patch can still block you from viewing. This only goes for 'Appearing Offline', someone blocking you will prevent you from seeing the person no matter what.
