Some of us like the bad guys better than the good guys. Who are your favorite villains?

My favorite villains

Magneto
Doctor Doom
Apocalypse
Galactus
The Joker
Lex Luthor
Darkseid

I got more but those are the ones I like most.

While naming some of my favorite villians, some quotes from them came into my head and I couldn't help but want to add them. Although you may not understand some if you haven't seen the film or don't know what it's about. I know, I'm a total geek.

Hannibal Lecter (Silence of the Lambs)
"I do wish we could chat longer, but... I'm having an old friend for dinner."

Buffalo Bill (Silence of the Lambs)
"It rubs the lotion on its skin or else it gets the hose again."

Top Dollar (The Crow)
"Ya know, my daddy used to say every man's got a devil. And you can't rest 'til you find him."

Kiriyama (Battle Royale)
doesn't talk =/

Stansfield (Leon)
"I like these calm little moments before the storm."

Michael Myers (Halloween)
doesn't talk either =/

Freddy Krueger (Nightmare on Elm Street)
"I'm your boyfriend now, Nancy."

Pinhead (Hellraiser)
"We will tear your soul apart. "

Count Orlok (Nosferatu)
"During the day I sleep, my friend. The very deepest sleep of all."

Dracula (Dracula)
"Yes, I too can love. And I shall love again."

"John Ryder" (The Hitcher) (the original)
"I cut off his legs... and his arms... and his head. And I'm going to do the same to you."

Captain Vidal (Pan's Labyrinth)
"You could have obeyed me"

Raymond (The Vanishing) (the original)
Rex, look at your life. You have nothing. No job. No money. No love. No peace of mind. At what point do you finally say to yourself: I'm not going to know where Saskia is tomorrow?
There was nothing to fear,
and nothing to doubt.

I thought Hannibal Lector ( Anthony Hopkins ) was really somethin'. A villian with intellect. He was bizarre though cool as a cucumber.
I thought Snow White's Stepmother was cooler than Snow White. She had this perpetual stealth and poise which good villians must posses to qualify as top-notch villians.
I thought Eric Tseng did a good job as the mafia chief ( Infernal Affairs ) ; I felt his performance was more subtle than Jack Nicholson. Less foul-mouthed, less stature YET one could tell he was capable of alot of sins. The original Infernal Affairs was way cooler than The Departed. Good villians need to be subtle to be wicked. Just think Michael Corleone ( Al Pacino ) from Godfather 2.

Pinhead from Hellraiser. That guy was the ultimate villain.
Juggernaut. I think he had an epic battle with the Hulk, but he finally whooped his ass in the end.

I also liked Shredder from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Though I don't pay much attention to it anymore.

Definitely HAL 9000 from Kubrick's "2001 A Spacy Odyssey".

"But when it ends and while it ends, something comes, after so much rage, persistence, obstinacy, extravagance; something entirely unexpected and touching in its mildness and goodness. With the motif passed through many vicissitudes, which takes leave and so doing becomes itself entirely leave-taking, a parting wave and call, with this D G G occurs a slight change, it experiences a small melodic expansion. After an introductory C, it puts a C sharp before the D. . .and this added C Sharp is the most moving, consolatory, pathetically reconciling thing in the world. It is like having one's hair or cheek stroked, lovingly, understandingly, like a deep and silent farewell look. . . . " (Mann: 55).
