Ok, so I'm looking for a website to buy an ipod mini. Since I'm really clueless about tech and stuffs, I don't want to get rip off. I was wondering if someone can like refer to to buy it at certain website for the best deal they can find?
THANKS a BUNCH
saw one for a 100$ at halfmania.com, but I just don't trust it... =[....help?

uhm, that was unexpected. I did all the googling and ebay already, but since I'm not that knowledgeable about buying tech online, I was hoping to get some advice so I don't get ripped off. If you're not going to help, at least don't be mean. Thanks. I'm sensitive.

lol, well, I do agree with what she said, but it could have been said less rudely. Uncalled for indeed. Anyhow, Amazon is one of the leading online retailers, and they are for a reason.

I disagree with what she said. You should give people benefit of the doubt instead of jumping to conclusion when it's uncalled for. Yeah, see I even searched amazon. Saw that, but halfmania is like 50$ cheaper which is kinda too good to be true, which probably is, so hence I'm here.

If you think I'm being "mean" then I'm sorry but it just irked me that you want other people to find "the best deal" and then see if the website is trustworthy all for a stranger... It's not a small task.
Anyway it's a general rule of thumb that if something seems like a really good deal then it's probably a rip off or a refurbished item (which is kind of like a rip off). It's not hard for you to make the judgment on whether a certain site is trustworthy.

best bet is to try ebay, but since it's a mini it's been out for over a year so the battery might not be in the best shape. I'd just spend 50 bucks more and buy a green nano. if you go the ebay route just make sure the seller has good feedback and if you pay via paypal you'll be fine.

Why do you want the MINI? It's so outdated. Get the Nano. It's so much better.

As for the mini, because it's so old, the only place you probably can get it is Amazon, but sometimes they aren't even reliable.

that's what i was thinking. if i were in the market for a new mp3 player, i'd shell out a bit more cash and get something new. i got my mini about three years ago. i just helped my coworker set up his nano yesterday... and my ipod looked so outdated in comparison... much bigger, no color screen.
if it's just about finding something that works, the mini is probably fine, but i'm thinking appearance must matter to you since you specified you needed a green one. i'm on my second mini... the first i exchanged for free under warranty because the battery died too soon.
