Hi Guys,
I was just wondering what would happen if I were to make a copy of a Window's Vista CD.
Is this illegal?
I've heard that if a copy is made, the original is disabled.
Is this true?
Please post some answers!
Thanks ^^

Actually feelitup, im pretty sure it will disable BOTH copies of vista so no one could use it...
Microsoft will consider both not genuine, then they will become deactivated and in 60 days... lockdown

It's only a matter of time awdark before it's fully exploited for everyday consumers who use the internet as their universal medium of undetected piracy.
Hate to say it, but I guarantee that over 50% of users a year from now will use a pirated undetected version of windows vista which they have aquired either from Dling over the net or purchasing them bootlegged.
Shame isn't it?

We'll see, pirated copies might get shot down at a later date with some form of uber-genuine check.. that will eventually get bypassed, but nonetheless something will happen.
anyway.. off topic slightly.

Actually making a copy of the CDs or DVD is not illegal.
Using the KEY more than once on another computer IS illegal. As most KEYs you see are only 1 license
