The letters on the keyboard work fine but some symbols are not there or are in the wrong places.. such as for the question mark, I get É and the question mark is shift 6 right now and for the arrow keys beside the question mark key (on keyboard) I get ' and " . I cant get the swirly key at all (the one beside the exclamation mark) and get \ instead.
I really dont know what to do, can someone help please?

defective keyboard?
try plugging in another keyboard and see if that works
and fyi the @ key is the "at" symbol

Alrighty thanks!
I just tested it out on my laptop and the keybaord wasnt the problem and then I fiddled around with the control settings and it was on Canadian Multilingual Standard and I changed it to US and yay, it seems to be good now
