well i upgraded from sbc yahoo dsl (3mb) to roadrunner time warner cable (6mb)
i did the speed test on speak easy and sure enough, it came out to what they advertised.
however when i download a file... i expected an increase in speed. i expected double the speed. instead i get the same speed of 200-300kb/s. should i call timewarner and complain? or what is it ~_~

maybe i spoke too soon. i dled with mozilla at first and i got those speeds... however i dled with internet explorer and got 600-700kb/s
hrmm now the question becomes... why does my firefox dl at that speed?
