I've downloaded five of their songs, and according to i-tunes I've listened to them about 250 times in the past 1.5 months. I downloaded 'a generation against them' about 2 weeks ago and the play count is already over 90. So, I guess, I really like them.
Jon, I know that Chul-hwan is the only original member left. So, I’m just curious. How long have the other guys been in the band?
Before we go on, let me just state that I hate MySpace too, and the guy running the Suck Stuff page does as well.
Chulhwan is the only original member, yes. They recently kicked out Ho-uk, the guitarist, and replaced him with Paul, a half-Korean American who used to be in a band called 12 Street Staggers in Utah. Paul wrote "A Generation Against Them" and you can hear his voice on "Why Do We Have to Respect Him?" which is another great new Suck Stuff song. They're taking the band in a new direction, and they've been trying with poor results to play more ska. But their angry-at-the-world stuff is still great.
They've released two EPs, and soon they'll put out a slightly more official album that has every song they've recorded. Honestly the EPs aren't much more worth getting than the mp3s; they're just burned CDs and photocopied covers. Korean punk CDs are generally only available in Skunk Hell.
