i was consider that as well until i realized that the ones in korea treat you really badly and isn't a great thing to do

awwwww that sucks japan instead 
i wanted to go to go to korea cause i have some korean's that took me in when i left my house and lived with them for like half a year and they taught me everythign but htey moved back to korea

All you need is any bachelor's degree and it's basically a 100% guarantee. Just need to find the right hagwon.
They're almost all identical when it comes to compensation.
Normally $2000 a month, with $2000 bonus at the end of your 1 year contract. Free round trip air fare. And free housing. Usually a small 1 room apartment called an officetel. You get around 15 or so holidays off. But only a few vacation days off, though vacation days can be hard to get approved.

Dave's ESL Cafe is definitely the best place to start in terms of research. I graduate this May, and my boyfriend, four of my friends, and myself are all planning to teach in Korea starting this summer.
