Prelude[size="4"]
[post="http://www.uoregon.edu/~rhoover/prelude/preludeleftside.jpg"]Prelude[/post]
Three engines powered 1992-96 Preludes. Base S models used a 135-horsepower, single-cam 2.2-liter 4-cylinder. A dual-overhead-cam 2.3-liter, rated 160 horsepower, went into the midlevel Si. High-performance VTEC Preludes, available from 1993 to '96, benefited from a dual-cam 2.2-liter with variable-valve timing, developing 190 horsepower. Except for the VTEC, which came only with 5-speed manual shift, any Prelude might have either a manual or an automatic transmission

Annnnnnd you fail at directions, read the rules. Over and over and over again, it isn't too hard to just add this to the "What car should I buy?" thread. Actually... i take it back... is this really a question or just a random spurt of information? You really give no information about what you are looking for or... anything useful really.

well I really want an integra type R but ppl are sayin that it's gonna get stolen. So my friends suggested buyin a prelude SH but the insurance for that is pretty steep. I'm gettin my car next month and iono i need a public opinion of which one is better overall and which one i should buy.

Well again, what are you looking for? Something cheap? Something reliable? All cars have their ups and downs for a reason. The reason Type R's are stolen so much is because of what they are, which to my understanding is above and beyond all the rest that you mentioned.

Integra Type-R.
Preludes are nice too but I have something for DC2's. An ITR is probably one of the best FWD vehicles available. It's great and really fun to drive. But you're right... they're theif magnets.
A Type-R is like a dream... once you wake up, its GONE! LOL

Someone should setup bait Type-Rs and start kidnapping these thieves.
It probably only has to look like a Type-R.
And then all that's needed is a couple of masked guys and a cargo van, beat them til they can't walk and dump them somewhere with a sign pasted on them indicating attempted auto-theft.
Knowing Sacramento and pretty much most of urban California, if you don't keep an eye out on your car and don't have a good place to park it, it's going to get stolen.

Being a previous owner, I vote for the Integ.
On lowered suspension, the car is very easy to handle and toss around corners. The engine sounds nice and I think it looks better than the Prelude.

You're definitely new, especially with your 3 post count. No threads like this please.
