"I'm sure you guys all heard that stereotype that says most if not all jocks in high school are horrible in academics. But I personally don't believe that. I find time to involve myself in the school Marching Band, community service, hanging out with friends, chilling at home, and dealing with a handful of AP and Honors classes. I will admit though, that I probably could have done much better in academics if I didn't focus so intensely on extra activities. I have regrets about not studying and achieving in academics to my fullest potential, but there is nothing that I really can do now. As I start applying to school with valedictorians and perfect SAT scorers, all I can do is pray to the Lord that I am walking on the right path.
I wonder if there are other people here also in this situation??"

I'm gonna be a freshman this year so but I'm only gonna try out for swimming. My sister says I'm definitely on varsity because my school's swim team is horrible. They hold grudges against people who are faster than them too so that fact scares me. Some people are really too much because some captains sabotaged my sister by entering her in events that she didn't want to swim. But I'm only doing it to get into a good college. But I've heard that being on the swim team doesn't even go on your transcript. Is that true?

Sports are love. biggrin.gif
I've been on Varsity Track for 2 years. My school was 3rd in state last year for our division.
I started Cross Country this year, I'm an Alternate varsity runner and i've run all the varsity meets up until league/regionals/state.

During my freshmen yr in hs, I was in the hb team.
But it wasn't until the beginning of Junior yr I quit, becauseeee I love softball more than any sport.

Junior yr - I was in varsity softball for over a yr, until i decided to quit and focus on other things.
Senior yr - LMAO, I'm in Cross-Country track =o weeeeeeeeee!~
