for those of you who have taken or are taking ap art history
is this class hard material-wise? or is it hard memorization-wise?... if it's hard at all

nope. it's very very much up to your interpretation. so a lot of the times you can just look at the symbolism on the paintings and make stuff up and 70% you're correct. i really like it though, non-bs wise lol. it's like interpreting a poem....visually.

^-- Yup, thats true. I didn't need to memorize dates or anything for my AP Art History, but still it shouldn't be too bad. Just study the general characteristics of a style and you'll be ok. Make sure you like writing essays, there was a lot of writing in that class. Ap Art History was one of the more fun classes that I took. Hope you'll like it too if you take it. =]

it's the most useless class i've ever taken in my life.
yeah, some of the stuff is interesting.. but so useless. unless you're gonna major in art, of course.
and we had to memorize periods, geographic location, artists, culture.. yada yada...
and the book is huuuge..
ugh, pain in the butt for me..
a lot of people enjoy the class, though.
but not me. lol
