I couldn't imagine showing Obscure to either of my parents. >< My mom wasn't pleased when she walked in on my watching Raison D'etre one day. >< Haha, neither of my parents much like Diru... -____- THe first time my mom saw Diru was on my desktop wallpaper on the comp in my room.. she was like "WTF? Are you a lesbian? Why the hell do you have women on you're computer?" Then I told her they were men and she was like "The hell they are. Those are women." -_____- Now my mom calls me a lesbian... she hates rock music, but Diru's older stuff, she doesn't really mind that much... it's just their looks and the fact that she can't understand what they're singing. XD My dad, I showed him Diru for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I have Diru painted on my bag, and he asked about them, so I showed him some videos, played some songs, showed some pics and was explaining all about Diru to him and then he interupted me and said "Hold on, those are women right? Cuz you keep on saying he... " I was like, No, those would be men. And he had the most horrified look on his face, like I can't even describe it but it was hilarious. Then I was all "There's other bands like them that I listen to, wanna see them?" He said no and then disappeared into his room. XD lol. And I think I posted how my uncle reacted to Diru... now he tells everyone I'm his lesbian wannabe neice. >< HAHAHA. Oh, who here hasn't shown Diru to their parents yet? Or who here thinks their parents had the worse reaction to Diru.. lol. Cuz stories like that are always fun to tell.

I have only ever showed my mum pics of Diru, and luckily she hasnt said anything particularly insulting. Oh and she liked Taiyou no Ao and Aint Afraid To Die.

My dad's only knowledge of them is the 4 pics of Kyo, 2 pics of Shinya and one pic of Kaoru on my wall (I need to print out more) but he doesnt know they're Diru or anything. I havent talked about Diru to him. Besides, Kyo, Shinya and Kaoru are mixed among Miyavi, Mana, Ruki, Uruha and Gackt on my wall. He probably thinks they're all women. Although there is one of Kyo when you can see his arms which are rather...ahem...masculine

I didn't really show Diru-stuff to my mother, but she randomly sees things when she comes to my room while I'm sitting at the comp...she rarely says something but the looks on her face say it all. She's not shocked by their looks though...she claims to have seen quite a lot of things in her life and I believe her. I know she worked in clubs as DJ before I was born.

As for my dad...well...what dad? I don't know my father too well...and what I know I'd rather forget...
