I was living with my grandparents in Virginia for a month and one of my friends online randomly sent me pictures of DEG. To her surprise I didn't think any of them were girls at all. That was where she left it at but from there I went looking for music to see what such pretty guys could sound like.

How long have you been a fan of Dir en grey:
A little over 3 years

What was the first Dir en grey song you heard:
Marmalade Chainsaw

What was the first Dir en grey PV you saw:
Raison Detre

What was the first Dir en grey clip you saw:
Die and Toshiya throwing snowballs at Shinya

Who is your favourite member of Dir en grey:
I love the group as a whole but if I had to pick one member to spend an entire day with, I'd choose Toshiya. That answer is simply because he's my inspiration for playing the bass guitar and I'd want to be able to thank him. Though as a whole, I'd have a lot more to thank the whole group for.

Not yet but looking forward to seeing them at the Taste of Chaos tour in March

It's not their best written song ever but it is exactly what Kyo and Kaoru said it would be when interviewed about it before it's release, it's their "hardest sounding song yet."

Erode...the guitar sounds like its laughing and the lyrics are so harsh yet emotional, I love the blend!

Ah..what I consider to be DEG's best composed album. It's really hard to pick but I'll have to say Raison Detre. I love the song, the bass line, the lyrics and i love the video! Not cause of the naked girl but because of the eye thingy! Thanks again whomever it was that posted it up in DVD rip quality ^.^ I think it was Legale..?

It's a tough decision between Riyuu and Injection...I'd go with Riyuu if I had to ~.~

Honestly..I was disappointed in the entire album. I think it's a big blemish in DEG's career -- something they should have never done.

Bottom of the Death Valley...followed close by Embryo...it'd be Embryo if it had an amazing bass solo or intro like BOTDV does. Embryo's is amazing too but nothing too hard to spectacular. AND IT'S TOTALLY WRONG THAT EMBRYO IS THE FIRST SONG TOSHIYA EVER PLAYED WITH HIS FINGERS! I read that somewhere...but it's wrong. Hotarubi was. If the person/people who claim that are here...listen closely to any DEG song before Hotarubi. Its not the tuning that makes it sound low, its the fact he's using his fingers which are softer against the strings, thus producing a slow/softer vibration >.< DAMN IT! Sorry...(Album at least, never seen a live for it)

Hades...it's so fast and the bass sounds like a machine! It's awesome to play and always fun to listen to..and Toshiya wrote it Children would be 2nd because of the pretty nice solo in it

Anyone who's as obsessed with DEG as me should be able to guess Drain Away..DUH! Amazing bass line ~.~ This song also has some of the most beautiful lyrics ever written by Kyo

What is your favourite song on Withering to Death:
DEGs image has always changed but with the birth of Vulgar something was apparently different. With the birth of Withering to Death something else was created. The music is all much different than even Vulgar, where as anything pre-SixUgly is fairly similar - rock/pop sounding. They're now full fledged rock and the lyrics turned from a reminiscent and completely understood feeling about the past into questioning the present and the far future. As if Kyo finally has been able to rid himself of everything horrible in his past and is now hit with the reality that life is still pulling him along. So what's worse? The past he knows or the future he has yet to know? For Kyo, I wonder which is a scarier thought.
My favorite song is Kodou from this album.
