When you EN deny grey to 29.5.2005 their first Germany concert in the citizens of Berlin Columbiahalle, there are no posters, no flyer and neither announcements in daily papers nor in music magazines. Nevertheless the 3,500 tickets are sold in scarcely 72 hours - at a recent, euphoric public, which is female to two thirds, and each Song along-sings loud. "the most amazing, most inspiring and bizarrste Rock'n'Roll concert of the season", schwaermt the BZ. And a racing speaks Rave, an event of "a wild celebration, of which those, which could be thereby, might tell still their enkelkindern."
They play a crazy Gebraeu from Punk, Goth and Metal. And optically multicolored contact contacts present themselves and skurrilen Outfits as androgyne Fantasie natures with much make-up, which combine elements from the classical Kabuki theatre (men in woman dresses) with horror and Sci Fi loans. Thus they catch the life feeling of a youth, which revolts against the rigid rites and traditions of the Far East company. With their own subculture, which functions completely selfly-sufficient from western influences and models. And long not only of music consists, but also of mode, films and Comics.
