There is no way they are playing live during performances. wow, you're right. i never really noticed that until now. O.o i don't think there's any doubt about Minhwan playing live though; you can definitely see the cymbals moving while he plays. however, i have heard of amps that you can strap onto yourself and just plug in your instrument, but i haven't seen a lot of them being used during live performances. i don't doubt the ten hours of practicing everyday but maybe management/staff think they should hold off performing live for certain performances. or it could just be an image thing. O.o

geez~ all of you were right about them not playing live. i just don't get it why they don't. what's wrong with that? but i think minhwan if not always atleast he usually play the drums live. coz i can see that the drum cymbals are moving whenever he hits it.

Hmm, about the backing track thing, it may be true though.
But whatever it is, at least they do real strumming even though it's not heard (supposedly they were using backing track),
and Minhwannie's definitely live though.

Hongki seems to have like the most popularity as an individual, because he sings, and the camera always focused on him.

The songs in their album are like 80% ballad. Huhu, it's depressing my happy feeling.
But thank god the other 20% cheerful songs can cover my sorrows

Antis, rumours & practicing for 10 hours for 2 years everyday?
Wow that sounds pretty nasty, but I guess they can't escape?
Every celebrity goes through almost the same phase. /:
But the most important is, even if they've to go through all these "hardship"..
WE FANS WILL BE THERE FOR THEM NO MATTER WHAT! YEAH! ;D

And NO f.t. members CANNOT speak english fluently. They're first focus right now is japan, and many of them cant even speak japanese that well (except for wonbin, who learned japanese thru japanese games and stuff and even so he cant speak japanese fluently either).

And not many krn bands have a member that can speak english well....i only know of epik high and that's tablo. Micky admitted that he forgot a lot of english after arriving in korea, and he didnt even speak english that well when he was in america (my friend was tight w/ him when micky lived in virginia, and my friend said micky was horrible at english lol). And Shinhwa.....and big bang......have members that speak some english but, lol, not well at all. Therefore, i'm not surprised that none of the f.t. members can speak english well.

Yeah I agree, majority of korean stars are not able to speak english well.
But that's something that can be worked on, right?

i havent been watching the more recent perfs because ive been spamming on suju for the past few days (even if some of their fans are.. ) but it seems like every time they perform, the spotlight is always on hongki... and its really like, aslkdjaskldjaskljgklasfklajsdkladja! because i want to see jonghoon too (even when hongki is ) ! and im just worried that if this keeps up, then some jealousy issues might occur or something... and... no more f.t island

haha i doubt jealousy issues will stir up. they have a closer bond than that. if they get such petty things as that get to them then i'd be disappointed. its not their choice as to who gets the spotlight. =]

It seems our youngest is by far the most popular in the group. What can I say, he's absolutely adorable. I love it when he bites his lower lip. It's strangely hot and cute at the same time. They are so supportive of each other and I loved the part where they talk about each other. It's so inspiring. It definitely boosted up my mood from all the negativity going on in the thread. Thank you so much. (BTW, the newspaper is called Bromide) Your work has been greatly appreciated.

I agree 10 hours for 2 years everyday is intense. I can hardly practice my piano for 2 hours a day. maybe they are right, its better with other people.

lols i agree i can barely practice for 30 minutes. well i guess if you're going to use the instrument as your life line it becomes your life (look at those who major in music ) also its always better to be with more than one person since you can always talk and just be in each other's company

The one he has in performances is more like an electric, so I was thinking that was to amplify the sound... But considering it's not live... (Stares.) We'll, they really do play on stage... Because it's be WAY too hard to handsync... It's just what you hear isn't actually live... But they're really playing. :x Hahahh. I guess all artists are like that though. :x

i think they're handsyncing ... lols i doubt they'd play live since people would hear it and what if they hit a wrong chord or something accidentally and not all bands are like this lols. more of the underground less popular bands play live (just watch the music shows)

I think its really cool that they handed out drum sticks and guitar picks at their concert. It must be considered very different and unique in Korea right now. Nice idea though. They're truly a band. Oh What would I do for a pair of drum sticks with Minhwan's autograph on them.

D: to tell you the truth, i don't think i saw that many performances of F.T :x dont throw things at me! ;o;'' my computer's messed up and slow already (==;; i was supposed to fix it last year but i didnt;;;) so i cant dload too many things anymore.
so basically, i can't go all YES/NO THEY PLAY/DON'T PLAY LIVE! xD but what you said makes sense...it's just that some pages back in this thread, we were discussing that issue and someone mentioned the wireless thing? and said there has to be something plugged into the guitars and etc....and someone else said they saw this thing hanging out from the side of the guitars. @@;; i would get the exact thing for you except i really dont want to go through 70 something pages of stuff ): i'm not saying you're wrong; i'm just remembering that so yeah ^^...
but anyway, D: it's really disappointing that after practicing for 10 hours a day, they dont play live :x except for that showcase. but it's not a huge thing for me because i think it's really likely that they might start playing live more often once theyre in the music business longer ^^.

Actually, Minhwannie would be a freshman. You know. Considering school starts in September here in the U.S, usually let's say that a class of 90ers would also have 89ers. I'm a 93er and my some of my friends in my class are 92ers. It's like the same for every class basically. There's always two years in a class.

But Minhwan would be a sophomore only if he started early. Then he would probably be the baby in the class. .
If he was a freshman, he'd be the one of the oldest. Kekekekeke.
