you guys, i only brought the whole lip synching part because i thought it wouldn't be a big deal since we were 'fans', but now it seems like there are doubts going on about 'oh they lipsynch?'... why? Have everyone NOT seen someone lipsynch. What is the big deal? I would've never brought it up if it would cause such commotions. Lets just drop it. If you change your mind about this band now that you know, then go ahead, no one is holding you back, but i thought fans were suppose to like the group for who they are and their music. It doesn't matter though, it's everyone's opinion, but please let us drop it.

i just finished reading all 36 pages of this thread (whew!) took me a while. These boys are taking up my finals studying time...but who cares, lol.
I see many many members of big bang's thread on this thread---we sure have the nose for talent, huh?

I'm a translator for love ft forums, so drop by a lot during the summer!! I will be translating like mad for y'all

Many ppl are already starting to have favorites, i see. I personally can't choose between any of the 5 members. In big bang, I was a huge fan of top b/c i personally thought he was the hottest and funniest. (i'm a bit shallow....sorry....)
F.T. island is probably the first band that i have ever seen where every single member is incredibly good-looking. Usually when i watch a perf, i zero in on the best-looking member, but for f.t., my eyes ache b/c i'm always switching back and forth, lol.

On the issue with lipsynching---i find that perfectly normal. Lip-synching might not give the authenticity of a perf that many of us fans are looking for, yet we are fans and therefore should be understanding. These boys have worked hard and practiced hard, and they're tired and nervous. I just watched their showcase, and hongki mentioned that for that 사랑앓이 m/v, the boys stayed up for 4 NIGHTS. I was like O_O. holy schmoly, right?

Anyways, my favorite song has GOT to be 첫키스. Maybe it's b/c the boys are still young, but i feel that this song is so appropriate for their age level. It would be weird for a band like shinhwa to sing a song on their first kiss b/c they're nearing their 30s, but for f.t., this song is PERFECT. The lyrics are wicked cute too i always smile and giggle to myself when i listen to this song.

I'm sorta nervous as to how welcoming korean fans will be to f.t. Rock music isn't really famous there--it's more focused on pop, ballad, and hiphop. F.T. is definitely going to make history if they strike it big in korea. They have the talent, most definitely, but i'm just scared that korean fans won't like the fact that f.t. doesnt dance and do stuff like that. Also, fanclubs like cassiopeia are really really really big in korea, and i dont know how responsive they will be to f.t., who is new and young. My friend who has recently come from korea was turned off by the fact that these boys were so young. She refused to listen to bigbang b/c she thought that they were young and childish....imagine her response for f.t., lol.

i personally see a lot of potential for these boys, and hope that they succeed. They are still young, and have loads of time to grow I hope that they dont work themselves too much though....hongki sounded a bit tired and sick during yesterday's perf....take care of yourself hongki

hello emma, I noticed you from big bang forums. anywho. dont say it like that .... makes me feel old. my first kiss was LONGGG gone.
but I have to agree. definitely fits with them. (age boys age!!!!)

They have the talent. I think that if you are going to be a singer or a musician... the top priority is your music. If you want to dance and whatnot... make sure that the main point of your performance is still your music and not the dance or whatnot. The point of being a MUSICian is music. It all comes down to that. That is why I love FT island. They definitely PERFORM and showcase their MUSIC. Watching their performances... you get in touch with their music the most. Not to add all the enthusiasm and emotion written all over their faces and body motions. (I don't know if that is confusing or not, hard to explain)

I guess for example: there are certain "musicians" out there that based their performances on their dances and their choereography. after finishing watching you get that feeling: wow that was some great dances moves or whatnot instead of something like wow... their music is amazing or wow... they have some amazing talent. lol i suck as explanations.

Sometimes..it looks like Hongki is the leader, but ehh. I'm cool with all of them.

I guess we'll have to wait and see what FTI will do in the future.
They've got a lot of time to develop and really make their mark

I'm not going to diss your friend or anything. I introduced my friend to FT Island yesterday night. And I was really dissapointed in her. I think its the first time I lost my respect to a friend. I showed her how good FTI is, and I think she agreed that they're good. As soon as she found out that they were all younger then her, she turned anti straight away. O_O

about the lip syncing issue, i'm not too effy about the whole thing. just the reassuring fact that they sing, play their own instruments and work hard for their future's enough reasons for me to completely put aside the fact that ft island lip syncs in some moments. they are young, and still on their early weeks/month of performing, so let's cut them some slack and just send all our support. ^^;; in no time they'd be singing live with no flaws and no problems.

I completely LOVE the lyrics of First Kiss because it's like telling a story in itself... And I just love how the feelings progress and in the end there's a kiss and gosh! It's just so loveable... I think people F.T Island's age will be able to relate to it better as well. So it's probably a favoured song because of that. Heheh. ^^v I talk too much...
