heyy everyone. i have a question.
okay say, i buy circle lenses that cannot have a prescription so i buy them prescriptionless. but since i need to see, i wear prescription glasses over the contacts. i know, weird but, is that okay? Or will that damage the eyes?

uhhh i was going to buy a pair
but my cousin (she's a fob from korea lol) said that her friend bought circle lense in korea and she wore them alot, and now her eyes are yellow.

apparently the dark ring on the lense melts and goes into your eye...

did anyone get yellow eyes yet? o_o

wth... Sorry but, that sounds incredibly implausible.

I wear my circle lens a lot, and no color has "melted" into my eyes. And for one thing, I don't even think that's POSSIBLE.

If chemical dye leaks into your eyes, your vision, not the color of your eye, would be affected. ANd besides that, most big brand circle lens are approved by the CE and FDA-- there are specific guidelines they must follow in order to be approved... color additive melting point being one of them:

http://www.cfsan.fda.gov/~dms/colguid.html

Your cousins friend is pretty silly to blame her yellow sclera on circle lens--yellow "whites" of the eyes can indicate jaundice, liver disease, fat deposits, even hepatitis. And also, human's sclera thickness grows over time--childrens eyes are naturally more of a bluish-white because their scleras are thin... as you get older, the thickness grows, and the white becomes more yellow based.

There are a lot of reasons to cause this... Unless she got several doctors to confirm this, I'm rather skeptical.

first, ^ ditto. I had yellow rings around my eyes and thought it was
due from circle lenses. but it was just allergy reaction to pollen. i used eye drops and they went
away after a couple of days

>>> has anyone heard of the japanese circle lens brand
called Magic Eye? I bought a pair of tear greys.
and the seller says that these do not tire your eyes
because they are made to let oxygen through unlike other lenses??
i just wanted to know if it was true. i didn't wear then over 6 hours yet.

sugar puff <3Wow... those Nudy's look good on you ^^ After seeing ur pics... i think ill go get myself a pair of Nudy blues =DAt first i was a bit worried... coz my hair is pretty dark and i thought the Nudy Blues would look unusual... but ur pics proved me wrong ^^Just wondering... which ones did you think look better? The Nudy Grey or Blue? The Neos dont look that bad either... just a bit dark methinks.. =P- HaiKi

NoNo it won't look weird, it'll actually attract people to look at you even more haha they're sparkly and noticeable =) I went to Pmall with these on and quite a few ppl stare at my eyes lol Ummm I like the blue better than the grey I think... but not by a lot, cuz I do want to change colors at times =) and the NEO sunflower green... eh ... I don't even think I'll wear them sleep.gif

Yea I don't think thats possible? I mean yes they might make your eyesight worse, but not make ur eyes yellow, unless she bought imitation brands that weren't approved by FDAI'm gonan try to wear circle lens without the thick black ring, hopefully that helps =) I think I'll stick with my nudys I love how the black ring is so thick yet still make ur eyes look bigger =)

Thanks ^-^ The halos don't really appear unless you look to the side, up or down then it's apparent.. otherwise it's not that visible~

^ awwww that sucks!!~

It's odd tho cuz i asked and the seller said that GEO Medical didn't produce nudy green and violet to have full power, so I was wondering how your seller can get it with prescription >.<

Is it possible to take it to my glasses place and ask them to put prescription on the lens? or is that impossible? lol
