Well, it depends. I took online courses while in college and we used this program where it was like an online facility with links. We had the classroom chat, some resources, account info, list of books to buy, daily lesson files, project due dates, etc. We did all of our tests online in multiple choice format and we had to hand in essays and assignments into the dumping bin they had. The final exam was taken at the registered college though. This could be way different from the way your online courses work though. Just remember to make sure that doing courses online from home fits you, because it didn't fit for me since I procrastinated more. If that's no problem with you, it should go pretty well.

Online classes are great! Just make sure to keep up with the schedule and you'll be fine. Prices vary. I usually try and take them for boring classes only

Hi,

I've done a few online course, I love the convience and flexibility, I usually only do online courses for gen ed cause the work load isn't as much. A lot of it depends on you to make sure you keep up with all the work and deadlines. Normally they have online quizzes, chats and discussions and group work, it can get a bit annoying doing group work online.

Hope that helped.
