A few months ago, there was a thread on mole remedies using ACV. It basically burns off the mole, leaving a small scar behind. I don't think that ACV is good for your skin, considering its acidic nature.
Salicylic acid is common in a lot of acne treatments because pimples are slightly basic. That's probably why ACV works too.
But there's a reason why Salicylic acid is being sold as an acne treatment and not ACV..

there's hydrogen peroxide in toothpaste so I sometimes use toothpaste on acne, which works =]

hydrogen peroxide is too strong if you use it on acne.. it might burn off your entire face. haha.
i think it would be better to stick with something that isn't for cuts..

so do you wash the ACV after you use it? or do you just leave it on your face?

^i leave it on, but it does smell, so i don't use it before i go out
anyways i justed started using ACV and i use it twice a day after i wash my face and i dilute it with water 1:1 (i recommend 1:3 if its your 1st time, just to see how sensitive your skin is to ACV)
but yeh i found that it helps (slowly) with my scars and acne, but not as good as benzoyl peroxide on acne in my opinion,
i rather use ACV because BP makes hyperpigmentation longer to fade than normal i read somewhere
