So I just checked my "estimated" financial aid status and it says I have none. This is really unsual because usually every year I get something.

I mean only my dad work in my family and he only earn 30k a year.

I don't earn much from workstudy.

It's going to be my 5yr in college. Do they not give financial aid after 4 yrs or what?

I'm in a nervous wreck break down because I don't know what to do if I don't get financial aid to pay for my tuition. My dad is going to have a fuss where he just yells at me non stop like it's my fault.

I don't want to go through the hassle of loans, and I also feel I shouldn't have to cause we're a pretty darn poor family.

Thanks, any answers and support will help.

They give you aids for 5th year senior, too.
I am a 5th year senior right now and I am getting a lot of grants, scholarships, tuition waiver, loans, etc.
Our family isn't rich either but I still take out loans.
Your thinking process of "because we are poor, I shouldn't have to take out any loans" is wrong.
You should take out loans from the fed because their interest rate isn't going to be high compared to...say, from banks or somewhere else.

you might want to check with your school's financial aid office.
at my school the limit on financial aid is 18 quarters. so this allows you to receive aid for 4 years plus summer each year, and an additional 2 quarters into your 5th year. The last quarter of the 5th year you have to take out loans.

your school may have different policies.

^ i agree.

i think im the poorest person here at my school. and im not even kidding!!
i have tons of loans and it's only my 3rd semester!!!
but i believe in education... it is worth anything but should be worth nothing.

i really do hope that things work out for you.
i admire you for finishing up college.
just see what happens but just incase... get those loans things ready.
it's better to take out a loan than lose out on your last year.

good luck!!!!!
i hope things go your way!!!!

I think you're fine.

They probably haven't gotten around to processing your application.

I haven't heard back from my financial aid office yet either.
Just wait it out a few more weeks...
DOn't worry, I think you'll be fine!
