so ive recently been notified that im eligible to choose a room.

the question is..

what should i choose?

i have the option of choosing between a 4 bedroom 2 bath or a 2 bedroom 1 bath.. on various levels of the building.

what are the pros/cons of both?

and im probably going to choose one on a higher level of the building (i like scenery ), but if there are any cons to having a dorm higher up the building, list em.

any info would be appreciated.

4 bedroom and 2 bath versus 1 bedroom 1 bath? So that would mean you would have either 3 roomies or 1? If you're outgoing and want to meet more people I would say to go with the 4 bedroom one, but you might not all get along...but if you only have 1 roomie you might not get along with her at all. a 4 bedroom one might also be noisier if you roomates bring over friends or guests. It's personal preference really. Personally I would choose the 4 bedroom because chances are you will get along with most of them...because right now I have 1 roomate and we do not get along.

And I would also choose a dorm higher up in the building! The scenery can be amazing. My room is on the 24th floor and I can see the CN tower (i go to school in toronto) as well as part of the lake. It's beautiful. The only con to this is that sometimes you have to wait forever for an elevator, and it can take a bit longer to get downstairs then if you lived on a lower floor.

I live on the top floor in my dorm...DONT do it. If the elevators aren't working, power goes out or you havea fire drill, you have to walk. And I'm not the kind of person who likes walking down 12 flights of stairs.

thank gosh ness i've been living on the lower floors my 2 years.

i personally like the lower floors. i get good enough scenery.

i share one bthrm with two other girls and plus my roomy.... TRUST ME. some peeps are freaken a-holes for not cleaning the bthrm.
TRUST ME!!!!! but i mean, if you have good mates.... they will clean too.

um... 4 bedroom, that will be lotts space to clean... depends on the peeps you live with.
and again, i'll let you know... in college, some peeps are pig!!! dirty. nasty. lazy. unclean.

it's all up to you.
you have to consider everything good and bad. not only the good.

I say get a 2 bedroom and 1 bath dorm, unless you like having a lot of people around. With 4 people living together, you run the risk of never having any peace and quiet. As for the levels, if your dorm facility has an elevator, I say stay at whatever floor you'd like. As for me, currently I reside on the fourth floor and we don't have any elevators. So it's a pain in the rear going down and climbing four flights of stairs everyday.
