for any incoming freshmen my advice to you guys and i bet your advisors will say this:

don't take ALL GE's in your first year, try to mix and match with your GE's and core classes

especially with budget cuts in process they're going to cut more and more classes and you're going to be screwed by your second or third year when you realize you cant add the classes u need/want

its going to be tough on the freshmens this coming year since 2nd, 3rd, 4th years get priority choice for fall quarter

uh why would you want to do something like that?

just go to a community college instead and transfer to a private school

tuition is getting more expensive and private schools are pretty up there too when it comes to money.

i finally got my admissions letter from pomona because they messed up initially on my transcript (apparently they thought i didn't have 60 units).
but yea i finally got in today

Question about AP credit.
I took AP Macroeconomics last semester & I took the AP test this month. Will cpp accept it? or am I required to pass the AP Microeconomics test too?

Oh & is there like a list of required GE classes on the website?

I think you need to score a 4 or higher for it to be equivalent to the courses.
you don't need to take micro since either one goes toward the same GE
area. But if you're a business major, you should take both exams [and score
good] so you don't have to take the classes.

You guys were right. It is hard getting classes.
At orientation I signed up for MAT114 cus my AP scores weren't in. But since I passed the AP test, I want to take MAT115, but no room What are my chances of getting the permission code or whatevers? & how do I get the permission code anyways? Cus it's not my fault ccp didn't have the scores.

Oh by the way, how's CHM121? I took IB Chemistry in hs & I really sucked at it so I'm scared..

no i haven't been able to accept/decline yet =(.. there's a 2009 link.. but it says i have no award waiting o_O;;

and i got an email reminder about fees being due this monday and that if we're waiting for our award, then it should say ''pending'' on our broncodirect// account summary.. but i checked and there's no ''awards pending''.. or w/e.. so im kinda confused~ i dont think the office will open monday so i dont know if i should still pay my fees or not. how about you??
