1. Age: 18
2. Pro-life
3. ermm, i don't think so.
4. i think in a way, euthanasia is a good thing. a person/animal who's been suffering could have a painless death, but then i don't think it's up to us to decide whether we should let someone/something live or not... smile.gif

1. Age? 18
2. Are you Pro-Life
3. Don't think so.
4. I don't think it is right to assist in someone's suicide. Humans have the right to live, but we do not have the right to say how we should die. Also think of the burden you place on the doctors. Doctors already have to deal with people dying around them, is it right to ask them to kill somebody? Doctor's shouldn't have to deal with the responsibility of killing someone. It may be easier for the patient, dying painlessly, but it is not fair to the doctor.

Life isn't might be to be easy and painfree, neither is death.

1. 16
2. Pro-Death
3. Yes
4. Euthanasia is fine in my opinion, as long as the victim provides their consent to die. It should only be allowed for those suffering from terminal illnesses or extreme suffering through injuries. If the person in incapable of deciding for themselves (such as having a mental disability, brain dead, etc.) then the family or closest people to the suffering person should decide on that person's behalf. For those that are suffering through depression, then no, because there can be help for that. Because animals cannot speak for themselves, I believe it's BORDERLINE okay to euthanize the suffering animal if there are no ways to cure its illness or repair an injury.

And I know that this will become a heated debate in this thread, so to all members that are posting in this thread, please just post your replies only concerning to LExoRAD's survey. Do not make any post opposing another member's opinions.
NEWSFLASH: I HAVEN'T BEEN A MODERATOR FOR LIKE 2-3 YEARS, SO STOP MESSAGING ME ABOUT YOUR PROBLEMS.

1. Age? 17
2. Are you Pro-Life (it's wrong) or Pro-Death (it's right)? PRO LIFE
3. Should euthanasia be legalised? NO
4. What are your thoughs on euthanasia? hmm i like this quote Euthanasia devalues human life. It encourages society to decide the "worth" of human life based on perceived enjoyment of life rather than life's intrinsic value

1. 24
2. Pro-Choice
3. Yes, Euthanasia should be legalized
4. I think Euthanasia helps to relieve those that are in critical pain, while slowly dying. No one needs to go through that, especially without an option of relief. If we're going to talk about freedom, then why not consider a final request that matters to the person whose dying? He/she has given the permission. It's more selfish on behalf of the people that rather just let the person die while under very excruciating circumstances. I believe it's not fair to that person going through the struggle.
The only thing that makes sense about life is death.

1. 16
2. Pro-death. What a demeaning-sounding term. huh.gif
3. Yes, I think it should be legal.
4. Some things are worse than death.
Some people go through things, accidents or what have you, that leave them with nothing left to live for. They literally can't become better, and are forced to live the rest of their lives in complete pain.
Like Wil^2 simply beat me to it. He summed it up pretty well.

1. Age? 17
2. Are you Pro-Life (it's wrong) or Pro-Death (it's right)? ahaha..pro-life is most commonly applied to the topic of abortion. but ANYWAY. lol. pro-death.
3. Should euthanasia be legalised? yes.
4. What are your thoughs on euthanasia? ~Your opinion can be brief.
I think euthanasia should be a option for people because if a person is old, in pain, and/or obviously dying soon and they WANT to be put to rest, they should have the right to say so. In the terry schneider [that`s her name, right?] case, they went about it the WRONG way. the woman was a vegetable for like the longest time..her husband wanted a new life..and her family needed to let go. I think it was wrong that they starved her to death by removing her feeding tube..they should have given her an injection and simply allowed her to go...At any rate...it should be an option for those who want it..it`s not suicide btw.

Thanx for your help<3

1. Age? 18
2. Are you Pro-Life (it's wrong) or Pro-Death (it's right)? Uh... pro-choice. Or pro-death, as you put it.
3. Should euthanasia be legalised? Absolutely.
4. What are your thoughs on euthanasia? ~Your opinion can be brief.
It's not my life. And the family of the person dying should understand that if that person wants to go, then they should be allowed to, you know? It's "selfish" on both sides to keep someone living and to want to die, but if one is terminally ill and going to die anyway, then let it be. Also, euthanasia SHOULD be under the consent of the person asking for it, you know?

If a person is brain-dead and can't control themselves from excreting all over themselves and breathe without machine use, then... I'm not really sure what to say. Not every one thinks or gets prepared for something like that, so earlier consent to "pull the plug" is a bit iffy. I do think, though, that the choice to pull it should be available.

Honestly. If you know you were going to die painfully if you weren't knocked out for the rest of it, shouldn't that be your decision? If you don't like euthanasia, fine, don't have it done to yourself, but let others have a choice, you know?

1. 15
2. Pro-Death/Choice
3. Yes.
4. I think euthanasia is acceptable if it is the patient's wish to die. I would rather relieve a person from dying of a slow and painful death than let the individual suffer. Again, it is only acceptable if the patient gives consent.

Age: 17

Are you Pro-Life (it's wrong) or Pro-Death (it's right)? Pro-Choice/Pro-Death/Pro euthanasia

uld Euthanasia be legalized:Yes

t are your thoughs on euthanasia? ~Your opinion can be brief.rsonally, I'm already registered as DNR/DNI, do not resuscitate/do not intubate, and if euthenasia were legal and an option, I would have a legal document written up on that with my instructions on the situations in which I'd be euthanised. I really don't ever want to be in a position be forced to suffer (paralyzed, trapped inside myself, etc.), and I don't want someone else to have the power to force me to be "alive". In the case that I'm braindead...well I'm already dead, it's just really disrespectful to me and my body to keep it "functioning" at that point in time.

In the end, it's my life and I'll do with it, what I see fit and necessary.

Are you Pro-Life (it's wrong) or Pro-Death (it's right)? Pro-Choice

Should Euthanasia be legalized:
Yes

What are your thoughts on euthanasia? ~Your opinion can be brief.
When suffering a terminal illness and you're about to die, then yes, I do believe in pro-choice. We euthanize our pets when there is no more hope for them and they wouldn't be suffering to their death ... so why not humans? This is not for emo kids that think that this is going to be their easy way out.

oo i did a stat project last year related to euthanasia. haha..

1. Age? 17
2. Are you Pro-Life (it's wrong) or Pro-Death (it's right)? err... euphemism please? pro-choice (pro-death)
3. Should euthanasia be legalised? yes
4. What are your thoughs on euthanasia? ~Your opinion can be brief.
I think a person should have the choice to do what he/she wants with his/her life in the case of being in the last stage of a terminal illness or if he/she is in excruciating pain(from a serious accident or such). And should he/she be in a coma or unable to show his/her own decision, his/her family should have the ability to make that choice for their suffering loved ones. Why should the gov't legally be able to keep a person who is suffering and wanting to pass on alive and in pain?

2. Are you Pro-Life (it's wrong) or Pro-Death (it's right)? Pro-Death
3. Should euthanasia be legalised? Yeah
4. What are your thoughs on euthanasia? There are certain circumstances when it's just better to let a person go rather than make him/her suffer, especially if it's pretty obvious what would happen soon (naturally) by waiting. I'm Pro-Choice.

2. Are you Pro-Life (it's wrong) or Pro-Death (it's right)? Pro-Death
3. Should euthanasia be legalised? Yup, with whatever reasonable restrictions pro-lifers can add to
4. What are your thoughs on euthanasia? ~Your opinion can be brief.
Basically, if I can't talk/eat/use normal bodily functions/move/communicate for life, I am already dead. If I can't breathe without a machine, that's a definite time for me to go.

It's not that I don't find life precious, it's just that I think death is precious as well. My mom even told me that if she can't make the choice to end her life for herself when she's ill, she wants me to promise that I will do it. Anything can happen, so we talked seriously about this. It's not going to be easy, but just decide for yourself.

1. Age? 15
2. Are you Pro-Life (it's wrong) or Pro-Death (it's right)? Pro-Death with some restrictions. xD
3. Should euthanasia be legalised? Yes. But with restrictions.
4. What are your thoughs on euthanasia? I mean with restrictions because if euthanasia isn't allowed, a DNR shouldn't be allowed either. You can't have a double standard. So, euthanasia should be legalized only for disease that seem incurable and the patient doesn't want to go through pain. Also, if there is NO chance at all of healing the person. But euthanasia by "He wouldn't want to be alive" or "He would want it this way" shouldn't be a logical reason to "kill with mercy"
