I watched ep 1 and loved it! Maybe I'm the only one, but I've seen both kissing scenes and love the cut one most. The uncut one gets awkward at the end. I gotta give Joe props for bringing it. I agree, he is so moody, but it wouldn't be ISWAK and we wouldn't love it as much if Zhi Shu didn't nut up here and there! I'm gonna watch ep 2 later, but ISWAK2 is definitely not disappointing so far - oh except the theme song worse than sucks!

The plot doesn't make too much sense so far: (a) why is ZS still cold towards XQ? ( why is he blaming the wedding as a result of his mother and XQ when he was the one who proposed? © why is he not registering for a "household license"? (d) and why is he so moody (like someone has said before)? Other than that, ISWAK 2 is really off to a great start and hopefully, it'll gain a bigger audience when more people spread the word about it being on air now. ^__^

hahahaha, I'm doing almost the same thing as you (meaning I'm watching as many versions as you are doing)..but actually I skipped around a lot! i better rewatch it fully to actually analyze this drama. I think Joe's character is very interesting, especially after watching (skipping around) It Started with a Kiss 1. I used to hate ZS so much (cuz whenever he hurt XQ's pride, it's like my pride's being hurt and since he always treated her as someone stupid, made me hate his characteristics), but after rewatching I found him to be very interesting. i like the fact that he was all so cold to XQ and had all these nerdy qualities in him, yet in the end he got all scared and nervous because XQ was gonna married Ah jin. I like the fact that a cold, and smart guy suddenly became sooooooooooo inconfident and nervous. Love the line he said that his mind was "blank" when he was chasing after Ah Jin & XQ. Anyway, not sure how to say it, but I've heard about episode 2 of the second one, and I would like to think that ZS had a good reason for not showing up at his house on time. I love the fact that he was eating XQ's cooking even though it tastes terrible. ^^ It the food from the heart that tastes best. Hahaha.

Oh, since mentioning the first one, I already rewatched the first one and I don't know why, I got annoyed by Jiro's character. I feel like Jiro should be acting different roles. It made me feel so when I realized Jiro acted the same characteristics in Hana Kimi! Oh, Jiro! Hope to see another Jiro in another drama.

Wow...I've been trying to keep up with everyone's opinions and mine are pretty much the same...

Even though the plot isn't bad, the music can't compare (sadly) to the first ISWAK.

Oh, and some people were talking about the way ZS is still rather cold towards XQ...personally I was very impressed with the ability of the screen writer(s) and the actors' ability to still portray this. Even though a totally whipped ZS would give us all fluffy-feelings, it would be very out of character for him... feelings take a while to develop and even though he realized in the first ISWAK that he wanted to be with XQ it's still going to take a while for him to grow accustomed to those feelings and the way he should portray them. So, I guess he's acting more realistic than anything else...

And when ZS was blaming his mom or whatever for his marriage...it wasn't that he was blaming her for making him to marry XQ...just that he originally planned on marrying her after they graduated from college and she (his mom) rushed it along...I believe that is what he was talking about. So, you can't really blame the guy...he's trying his best (I mean, just look at the room he's stuck in! Poor ZS...). I don't understand a word of Chinese but from what I was getting, XQ could have been a little less emotional (even tho I love her)--it was a bit much.

Basically, just give ZS more time. I think that his character is actually progressing along at a pretty fast pace, considering everything. *sigh* if only the episodes came out quicker!!

I totally agree about that. ZS being really love-love would be so out of character (I think it'd give me a sort of disgusting feeling), and as much as XQ is trying to be a good housewife and getting used to beign married and all that, ZS is getting used to having her as his wife and being a husband. He's always been cold to her, he's cold just...pretty much most of the time, so him changing would be kind of sudden and strange. And I thought XQ overreacted a bit in the second ep, I mean going to medical school is no walk in the park and he can't come home every day, if she knows he's working hard to achieve his dream (that he came sooo close to losing in the first season) then she should try to be more understanding. Ah well, I like it anyway (except the music...the music does not compare to the ISWAK 1 ost, sadly)
