Process Of Changing Majors. Difficult?

Well, I am going to SJSU (85% sure I am) and I realized that I put my major as Business Administration with an emphasis on Marketing. However, I meant to put emphasis on Management. What exactly do I have to do to change this? Thanks. =]

it shouldn't be hard to switch within departments. just go to your department counseling office and let them know of your change. work with one of the guidance counselors to plan a new schedule towards management instead of marketing.

they should change it for you.
they have to. you are after their student.

For me (I go to UCI), it was REALLY easy to change it before my first quarter. all I had to do was fill out a form which I got at orientation

as long as you are changing majors within the same school, you are ok.

now if you were switching from business to engineering or something like that, it would be a much more complicated process.

I registered as an incoming undergrad freshmen as Computer Science major but I easily changed it to Hotel Management. I just simply went to talk to my academic advisor and they were able to change it right there and then talk with me as well for pre-major classes to take.
