I used to have monolid looking eyes. There was a fold but you couldn't really see it unless I closed my eyes. Then a couple years ago one of my eyes changed slightly, just a little bit bigger than it used to be. Then my other eye changed a year or so later. It really bugged me because I had always had my eyes one way and then they were another way. But I got used to it after awhile, plus after the second one changed they were symmetrical so I didn't care that much. Now the same eye that changed first is trying to change again. Only the lid is getting a lot bigger, a whole centimeter it looks like. I know that doesn't sound like much, but it's a lot on a small area like the eye. But I've been pressing on the crease that it's normally on to keep it from changing bigger. I think maybe it's because last month I had a rash on that eye and I was scratching it a lot. The rash is mostly gone but it still itches a little so I'm trying not to scratch in case that's what's making my eye change. I really like my eyes how they are, and I liked them even more before the first change. I don't want them to change again.
It was a couple days ago that I noticed my eyelid got bigger, but all day that day I pressed on the crease it used to be on until it went back. After that day it's just stayed where I want it and I haven't had to press on it. But I press on it anyway just in case. Can someone tell me if it sounds like my eye is changing naturally or if it was just a result of the rash? I don't think this is important enough to go to a doctor for, but I want an opinion.
