Newbie to thread!! *waves*

No offence or anything but for being the "2nd FinKL" they weren't what I was expecting. I expected too much. They have more of a mature sound. But I really, really, like their album. The songs are really good.

I like their latest performance. They seem like they've gotten a bit over the whole live, stage, performance thing. The outfits weren't my favourite.

and all of us started laughing, yeah my friends think KARA is
one of the best girl groups to debut as of now :]

i honestly think a lot of people shouldn't come to this thread thinking 'oh i expected a lot more since they're labelled as 2nd finkl' or anything else that pertains to the '2nd finkl'.
Finkl was the first girl group that got me into kpop.
Shinhwa was the first kpop group that got me to love korean music <3 my first loves & im a 7 year fan. 1998-2005. <3
but in my opinion, even though media's labelling them as the 2nd finkl-they're still amazing in their own way.

Of course they aren't going to be EXACTLY like Finkl.
Look wise, vocal wise, performance concept wise....they're different from them.

I dont want to drop the 2nd finkl label because they're probably going to work harder to achieve that reputation..
but already in korea, people are recognizing them...very slowly...but they're recognizing them as KARA not the 2nd finkl.
Which makes me really happy :) <3

they're still newbies and their dance perfs aren't top notch but they all have potential to make it BIG in the entertainment world.
I just hope people would have less of a high expectations because of just that label :/

like any other fan, people should love them for who they are.
not who they are like or who they're labelled as.

Im not pinpointing anyone out but a lot of people who come by who are new to this thread seem to say that really often, and I really wish people could just see them as KARA and JUST AS KARA.

Anyway Hi to all Kara fans...A newbie here...who just can't stop listening to them eversince yesterday

OK first off, I'm just gotta say when I downloaded Kara's MV yesterday I didn't have the '2nd FinKL' thing in my head...so i think it's good...to be honest I never like FinKL that much...
Anyway I downloaded their MV Break It yesterday night, and I was so happy, finally I found a girlband which I love...I found most of the new girlbands tasteless...but Kara wah they shock me, they have the looks, dance and voice...they are still young, so everyhwere there's room for improvment

anyway I feel like an official fan now, mainly cause I never had really like any girl bands before...but Kara is different and I love every single one of them...at first I have problems telling the difference between nicole and GyuRi...but now that's not the problem anymore...

I hope they would hit no.1 on the chart one day and I will travel with them all the way...


ps: I need to get my hands on their perf and album...

I agree with you fully Xanna(hope you won't mind) same with BabyVox REV...I'm not comparing here...just stating an example...I like them too...but I see them as who they are...not as baby Vox...FinKL and Kara are completely different...well beside the amount of members, everything else is differnt...their songs are more diverse...maybe due to the trend, but during FinKL time, girls tend to stick with sweet voice...now everything is different...so we shouldn't see them like that

BY they way, DSP only wish them to be popular and succesful like FinKL, not an imitation of FinKL...some Korean just can't read the article in november properly that's why there's this issue now...

hi i'm new to this thread. i had no idea kara even existed until yesterday when i was browsing threads. I think sung hee is really pretty she reminds me of han chae young and hyori for some reason. and sung yeon is really cute. they're my favorite members. gyuri kinda reminds me of isak ahaha idk why anyways, kara is a pretty good band. i really think sung hee has a great voice.

I'm sure that Gyu Ri is natural beauty with SeungYeon and Nicole . So some worry about Sung Hee [ my fav ] , her nose is different in my mind .
But I think K's gasoos , Surgery is normal-work.

Wow, I honestly thought they were just like Baby Vox Rev and Wonder Girls. But then I just saw their debut performance just for the hell of it, and they sound pretty good Esp when I'm sure that the other two groups lip synced theirs.

No i don't think WG lip-sync, i've watched all their performances, and it's all live.

I really loved Kara's 5th performance, it was the best yet...felt like dancing along witht them! lolz.
I must say Kara is a more funky/pop group and more mature than the matured bands, love their voice
and how they present themselves. Kara Hwaiting!

I wonder when their next performance will be. I really hope they get to perform other songs as well. Just like how SS501 promoted 2 songs for just thier first single.
