this seems like a dumb question...
in firefox 2+, it resizes images when i'm viewing them on a page. like an image that won't fit the page so it resizes and has a black bar on top with the dimensions. i've been trying to get rid of this since forever. i can't find it in the options box, anyone know how to fix it?

What inspirationne* said.
If you're talking about the images on this forum, then it has nothing to do with Firefox. I believe it is just a feature that this board have in order to keep the page width fixed. Otherwise, this topic would be very hectic.
But if you're talking about images on other websites, then:
1) On your address bar, enter about:config.
2) Find browser.enable_automatic_image_resizing
3) Double-click it to turn its value to false.
