you mean as in a touch up or full body? I dont think it's worth it getting a paint job if you are going to just paint the car with the same color it is now. But most likely it should run around 500 for the basic.

I mean touch up. No full body.

I was going to say that real paint jobs, I mean the ones where they use base coats, layers, clearcoats, etc, those are crazy expensive. Depending where u live, it can be upwards of $3000+.

those are for people who have deep pockets. i doubt that that option is considered basic since it would include multiple clear coats, but i could be wrong.

I was quoted just for a proper hood repaint (including matching the color since a bit of fade turned the expensive pearl color more grey), $600 for a basecoat, 2 layers and clearcoat. This was after a accident that wrecked the hood of the car only, and man... the aftermarket hood was half that price of paint.

So, currently, for the past 1.5 years, the car has been sitting with a spray painted (over the primer) hood...lol so far no rust, but I still plan to get some paint on there to give it protection of some sort.

Remember: Primer is not paint, and its not protection from rust...

around 2-3k for the whole shebang... EVERYTHING, including the engine bay.

the most expensive part is the labor itself... need to wetsand and buff the crap otu of the coats for a consistent and seamless finish.

Seen a few S13s and S14s do it, looks good in pictures... not so much in person though. Not too bad though.

Maaco has the cheapest paint jobs. I think prep and re-paint was $600 bucks.
