It's from 2001 !
It's by Ron Howard with Russel Crowe and it won 4 academy awards, I think you can rent it in every video-club in the US.
See here.

basically it's about a physicist (russell) and his life with schizophrenia..
"That depends a good deal on where you want to get to," said the Cat.
"I don't much care where--" said Alice.
"Then it doesn't matter which way you go,' said the Cat.

I agree.
But to say the truth, it's build on the model of "award winning movies"

I was soo surprised that the REAL John Nash was completely different than the one played by Russel Crowe....
Well...dont know what else to say about that.

if Nash was a jerk.. i feel bad for the wife! he doesnt need to be taken credit for if he has that attitude. just because he's a genius....

its so different from the biography, cuz i dont think they said something about his "imaginary room mate" in it...but i guess they had to make that so that the watcher knows better how he felt like....
still prefering the book though..
now he's not a jerk anymore though...or not that much of a jerk...at least they say it at the end of the book....he's now trying hard to make his wife's life as easy as possible....i think thats nice of him =)

I knew while watching the movie that it wasn't exactly true to reality but I didn't know he was portrayed THAT differently.
hmm, I'm gonna have to check out the biography, I'm in need of a good book anyway...

I just downloaded it the other day.. couldn't find the dvd.. it's too old, I guess... I'm in love with the movie.... It's great effort... Russell Crowe and Jennifer Connelly done a great job!

I love the movie "A Beautiful Mind" and I'm thinking of getting the book/biography. Has anyone read it? Would it be worth the buy?
