I don't know why, but ever since yesterday I've been having trouble with my computer, it just freezes out of middle of no where
and today, right after I sign on into my account (which is the only account on my computer), it will start loading all my personal settings (the buttons on the bottom of the computer) as usual, but when it gets to a certain point, the whole computer just freezes. Ater it freezes, I can still move the mouse but can't click on anything, not a thing! I've tried Ctrl+Alt+Del, that doesn't work. and I can't even turn it off, i have to unplug and re-plug to restart my computer. I've tried to restart my computer many times, it just freezes at the same spot (about 30 secs after i sign on into my account) and after that, i can't do anything to it. I can press Num lock, or Caps, the light will still turn on and off

and everytime i start mu comp, this message pops up

Window cannot find "C\PROGRA~1\SOFTWA~1\soproc.exe' Make sure you typed the name correctly.....(it goes on")=(

I'm so clueless, this has never happen before
does anyone have any clue about what's going on, is this a helpless situation?
i want to cry sad.gif

oh yeah, i'm using the family computer right now since my comp doesn't work tears.gif

if i'm not wrong (please correct me), soproc.exe is a spyware
so yeah, that has to be removed =O

lemme do some research for you..

socpro.exe is spyware and needs to be removed. If it is trying to run at start up,
go to start>run and type in msconfig. When the dialog box opens, navigate to start-up
and look in there for something like socpro. If you see something, uncheck the box
and reboot your computer. The only way you may be able to get rid of socpro is to
run anti-spyware/malware/anti-virus software.

credits

not sure if that's a reliable procedure.
i just know it's spyware :0
goodluck! hope this helped :D

start it into safe mode and try what the above reply stated.

Easy way to get into safe mode is to turn off the computer while it shows the Windows XP (with the little loading scrolling thing) the next time you start it will give an error windows couldnt start right and blaH
