nope buy it. its worth it. i bought the unlimited one when i was shopping for a car.. found out the car was about to sign was in a accident that hit a street sign then the electrical pole. didn't get that car haha.

is a consumer reports buying guide thing worth it? Thats like $13 or so to help u buy a new car and supposedly saves u $1000's?

that is sort of different....im sure u can get tips from a lot of people who have bought cars, etc etc
but i think most of the tips u get from the buying guide u can find online or from other people
carfax u cant really ask other people

Carfax gives out reports on the actual car. I had to get one when I was looking around for cars. It shows the work done on it, how many miles it has since the last time it got work, and so forth. So I don't think that information is located in a library. It's very worth it. ^^

I looked up my old 190E on carfax and found out the odometer was messed around with before we bought it. Naturally, we freaked out. We wished we had carfax before we bought it.
