meshi: thanks! i worked my butt off haha. i'm not ambidextrious so it made things super hard.
mmitsjojo: yes, i used powders. they're about the only things you can use to sculpt 3d nail art.
what other materials did you use besides the colored acrylic powder? is it possible for me to know the names of the items because i'm trying to purchase the items but i don't know what they're called. Or if you bought it on a website, is it possible for you to link me?
thanks!

thanks!
well you can't use the powder unless you have the monomer (hence, it's called liquid and powder). monomer is expensive as hell (around $14 for 2 oz). i mixed some of my powders for colors. the base polymer i use is a clear polymer from a company called EzFlow. i use a nail primer from the same company. i also use a nude/neutral-pink ish for french manciures from creative in the "clear" color. the brands of monomer i use are kiss (kinda cheap but smelly and lifts), EzFlow, Alpha 9 and nailene. i use different ones because i found each one makes a different consistency when mixed with my polymers. beauty supply stores have these items in a variety of fully sizes or there are some trial kits you can try out. they have a small powder, a small monomer, a brush and some tips to help you get used to l&p and let you experiment with different brands for a low price (usually $10 for the whole set).
i'm gonna stop right there and stop talking about my supplies. i was gonna go into brushes, files, glues, types of tips, types of forms and stuff. i got caught up in a tangent. if you wanna know more just pm me hahaha.

honestly, you just get used to it and it's like typing with no long ass nails. except your fingers are a little less sensitive to the keyboard.

Left hand

Right hand (plain pink polish)

June 15
I had the same design for both hands cos the stamping bit was easy since I just stamp them randomly.

June 17
Left hand. I removed this right after cos it was too messy. I redid them with the same design but with a base colour that matches my right hand.

right hand. I found some old sticky thick glitter polish and used it as the tip. So easy to work with. Lol!

all nail glue generally works the same. your nails probably come off easily because there are air bubbles. apply the glue to the natural nail AND the false nails and don't let either of them dry prior to applying false nails.
you can use fake nails more than once. but that in no way means you should. it's definitely not hygenic (i'm not sure it'll cause any long or short term problems that are severe), it won't look as good as they did the first time, and removal won't be too pretty either.

don't mind that i have fat fingers and a splotch of white out on my hand or my camera strap (self timers suck). the colors are more transparent than bright , but they're uv acrylics so they get bright in the sun and with tungsten flashes (camera flashes) for some reason but not other types of lighting
