cute nails but i dont like fake nails.. at least not on myself (never got them though) cause im an artist.. they would get in my way. i like to keep my nails short-medium length. i found this pic of when i did my nails like 2 years ago lol.. the pic is blurry but it was an asymmetrical french w/ black brush strokes bursting from one side.

im too lazy to do my nails now but i was blessed w/ a natural french (ive gotten asked many times if i had my nails done).. no pics but maybe in the future if i remember.

hmm i'm not really a fan of the 3d nails, they seem a bit much to me (no offense to anyone, just imo)

I did French tip on my nails the other night but when I looked today.. some already came off. I put clear nail polish on it already. What else should I do to keep it for a bit longer and not just a couple of days?

Also what nail polish brands are good and affordable? I find cheap ones suck but some are wayy too expensive. Can you guys suggest me good brands and their approx.prince per bottle?

i use a base coat, the color polish i want, and a top coat. you're supposed to put a top coat on daily to keep it fresh and lasting long. i use sally hansen's top coat, but i heard Seche Vite's top coat is one of the best and fast drying top coats. every time i go to buy in the pharmacy it's sold out i use OPI nail polish mostly though and OPI base coat.

OPI nail polishes are about $7 or more per bottle. Sally Hansen is about $4 or more dollars and very popular in drugstores. Seche Vite is about $9 or more dollars? not sure, but you can find various prices.

I'm collecting the FaceShop's nail polish, the thicker ones.
usually it's just the base coat, colour, top coat. it lasts me long enough to repaint them.

does anyone else think rounded nails are pretty?

whenever i get my nails done the asian lady tells me that "rounded" is for OLD people..
in a strong accent I can barely understand T_T and then she wont do it for me.. lol >_<

btw, some people are so talented o_O

yeah i think that too because rounded nails were popular back then so the old ladies always gets them. I switch sometimes with my nails. But if your nail technician was smart, she would listen to the client's needs instead of doing what she thinks is nice. Bottom line, if you want rounded nails then you should get them and she shouldn't say anything. I know that when I do nails I ask them for what they want, and if they let me choose I go for square because it's easier. I think your nail technician just doesn't want to do round cause it's harder to shape .
