I went over the pink with CoverGirl Boundless Color Nail sparkle topcoat - 405 disco dazzle .. and then I went over the top half portion of my nails with Sally Hansen (New Lengths) - 29 Urban Chic

Theres a lot of layers >_<;;; haha

QUESTION: i saw a tutorial for the gradient nails by back brushing clear nail polish, but wouldnt that stain the brush and or mix with the rest of the clear color when i stick it back into the bottle?

i just buy a cheap clear topcoat so that when it looks like it's no longer...clear..just throw it away...and technically...it shouldn't stain the brush, but..i suck

I've just started to get into doing my nails but one thing I'm worried about is how I'm supposed to keep my nails healthy and pretty (^^) at the same time.

Do you guys put on those nail strengthening polishes or let your nails "breathe", i.e. no polish, in between painting them?

i've done the exact thing to my nails before! haha. but the polka dots wouldn't come out as perfect round circles.
