the new single is coo`.
i don't know i miss the old lp but they shurely did grow up alot..
so i guess it's a good thing (((=
esp chester..cuz i kno he's bby grl is what 3?5? yrs old now..
i used to c chester n sam alotttt...before they had there bby!! (=

mike shinoda has his art show like a few mths back! tongue.gif

Chester doesn't have a daughter, he has three sons. It's sad that Sam and Chester are no longer together.

From what I've seen, Mike's artwork is amazing. I loved all his paintings.

I'm sure they are going to have a listenin party up here in Toronto, though it's not clearly stated. I know that "What I've Done" isn't the best track on the album, so I definitely want to hear the other songs. I feel that they are really leavin the "nu-metal"/ rock and hip hop sound behind which is really sad. I loved it. I just hope they don't disappoint me.

1. Wake - Nice intro. --/--
2. Given Up - Great song for a second single. New sound, but the chorus brings back something "addicting-like" like in the other 2 albums. 9/10
3. Leave Out All The Rest - Slow rock, very soothing, and possibly a great song to get over hardships/hardtimes. 7.5/10
4. Bleed It Out - Fun song, easily the best song on the album. 10/10
5. Shadow of the Day - More of a ballad.. but not your usual ballad 7/10
6. What I've Done - Great choice for their first single and a great transition from their old stuff to new stuff. 9.5/10
7. Hands Held High - Fort Minor-ish. what i've done part-2 like, but the rap-version. Rap is genius! 8.5/10
8. No More Sorrow - I liked the intro. The singing doesn't start till 1:00+ minutes; that's the only down-part. 9/10
9. Valentine's Day - Break-up song rather than Valentine's-like. My least-favorite beat wise, but i'm sure it'll be liked by many. 6.5/10
10. In Between - Mike Shinoda singing... A, for effort I guess. 5/10
11. In Pieces - My favorite song on the album. Love the beat and the lyrics can relate to anyone, because i'm sure everyone felt like this someday in their life. 10/10
12. The Little Things Give You Away - Not bad.. good way to end the album. 5.5/10

Recommend Tracks: #2 Given Up, #4 Bleed It Out, #7 Hands held High, #8 No More Sorrow, #11 In Pieces.
Overrall: 8/10

thank for those who gave their reviews
big fan of LP here, still listening to crawling and somewhere I belong from my playlist
can't wait till 15 may!
so far the single What I've Done is not dark enough for me dry.gif , even though I like the video (esp when the american kids hold flags while other kids hold guns )
I surely hope the rest of the album better !

when he died, his eyes were closed and his heart was opened

I'm definitely going to Projekt Revolution when they come up here. It's the first time they are coming to Toronto while on PR. It would an all American tour before. Finally, something to look forward to this summer. =)

Minutes to Midnight was a disappointment. I only liked Shadow of the Day.

Almost nothing on the album has a catchy sound like Numb, Faint, Runaway, Crawling, etc. from the Meteora and Hybrid Theory albums.

It's basically "softer" emotionally than the first two albums, missing that "angry" element that most fans have enjoyed so much over the years.

It's not a horrible album, just a disappointing follow-up to the success of Meteora and Hybrid Theory.

I could listen to any song on Meteora, not just its hit singles and enjoy all of them. Can't say for the same for Minutes to Midnight.
