carmen lee did a really good job portraying her, crystal liu probably looks most likely to be "xiao long niu" but way too young throughout the movie...

I absolutely love Return of the Condor Heroes. My favorite are the two previous TVB versions. The 2006 one seems to have completely blotched the storyline, in my opinion. There were two many scenes deleted, and too many unnecessary camera focusing.

The Legend of the Condor Heroes and the sequel, The Return of the Condor Heroes are the bomb
I've only watched the one with Julian and Athena, but pretty sure the other version cant beat this one. its great
and Louis Koo and Carmen Lee in The Return is fantastic as well.
I think that the new versions are so bad and it does these classics no justice at all.

i was late & didnt watch this till the liu yi fei version came out ..i thought it wasnt bad but might be cuz i never watched the old ones. I agree though..it was like eye candy..almost everyone was pretty

i know, it seems that though the movie quality gets a bit better, the story line has gotten a lot worse. =P i didn't like the way the presented the story in 2006 at all!

I've only watched the '95 version and at the time, felt that the two main characters should marry each other. hahaha... I don't know.. Louis Koo and Carmen Lee was soooo gorgeous together!

Saw a little bit of the 2006 version and it just wasn't the same.

This thread makes me want to go out and rent the series again.
