I'm going to start making a new thread soon because Kelly will have huge promotional events for the album in the near future. Therefore, I want to make a general thread where I can put whatever information on Kelly.
Promosquad put up two of Kelly's new songs, "Can I Have A Kiss" and "Haunted." People are liking those songs. So very cool! I haven't listened to them yet, I want to save them when I buy her album.

Compilation of reviews of Kelly's performance on AI Finale
The original “Idol,” Kelly Clarkson takes the stage to sing her new single, “Never Again.”
I have to say, even though Season 1 was not as packed with incredible performers and singers as some of the later seasons, Kelly is what this show is all about. She is the face of “Idol.”
And while executives have not been 100 percent supportive of Kelly’s latest work, I certainly think this song works well for her. She clearly has immense talent, and good for her. “Never Again” is much better than this year’s “Idol” single. I think Blake would agree with me on this one.

The return of Kelly Clarkson
She sings Never Again, and Ryan, in a moment of understatement that's atypical of Idol, says "she's a little ticked in this song."
Kelly's rockin' this thing. I'm far from a rabid fan, but I think she'd dust both Blake and Jordin off the stage if she were in this year's competition -- as long as the judges let her sing stuff like this. Good drummer, too.
What is it about the Idol producers that they want the winners to sing banalities like that song from last night, when Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson and Chris Daughtry have all been huge with songs that have ... you know, huevos?

Score! Kelly Clarkson's on stage. She's rocking some serious rage, with a performance of "Never Again" from her new disc. Too bad that phrase also refers to the chances of her returning to the Idol stage again. All in all, a great performance. Complain about this song all you like, but I love Kelly. Two words: original Idol.

Wow
I think Kelly Clarkson just melted my TV a little with the force of her rocking. That is one angry lady. Now I'm even more intrigued to check out the Burleson native's forthcoming third record ...

Kelly Clarkson gets better and more adorable the more bitter she gets; She's like an episode of "Everybody Loves Alanis."

Clarkson's still got it!!
Ooh... get out!!! Kelly Clarkson is back and she's singing her new single, "Never Again." There's been all this talk about how her label isn't happy with her new CD and how it almost got scrapped - I'm kind of curious to hear it.
I love it - love the tune, love the words, love it all! Of course, I'm a huge fan of Kelly Clarkson. Her last album was out of this world, and based on this song, I will most definitely be investing in her new one. The song is basically about a breakup and boy, is Kelly mad. And who can't relate to that?

Kelly Clarkson comes out one more time to sing The Beatles' "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band," accompanied by Aerosmith's Joe Perry. it's pretty good - I love Kelly Clarkson's voice and how she can rock out like a superstar and then come back and sing a beautiful ballad as soft and sweet as needed. She's fantastic.

8:12 pm Kelly Clarkson singing her new single, "Never Again." Did she get rid of the nose ring? Yes! If you ask me, you shouldn't sing a song in which you're "ticked" and have the words Sunday school in it.
8:14 pm Oh, it's not over. Never again should she wear thigh-high boots. Jordin, this is how you do anger.
8:16 pm Clive Davis liked it! So did Jerry Springer! And Foxworthy! Jennifer Hudson, too.

Kelly Clarkson Performs "Never Again" and she's good. But I think their point is, they produced at least ONE great American Idol.

Starting with the good, Kelly Clarkson owned this night. While the other Idol winners and runner-ups have racked up big sales, Clarkson is a true star. She sang "Never Again," which is one of the nastiest kiss-off songs to an ex-lover I've ever heard. Sounded hot, looked hot. Gwen Stefani's "live" version of her limp single "Four In the Morning" paled in comparison to Ms. Clarkson.

Among the other diversions on hand during the two-hour countdown to the predictable coronation was a draggy ballad beamed in live from a Gwen Stefani concert, the first "Idol" performance in five years from season-one winner Kelly Clarkson, who belted out a very Pat Benatar-like rendition of her hit "Never Again," and a reprise of Carrie Underwood's cover of the Pretenders' "I'll Stand by You."

8:12 p.m. I would like all of you immature boors who mocked Kelly Clarkson for her weight and Idol Strikes Back (Gives Back?) muumuu to issue polite apologies (it's not too late to make a donation). Black boots nearly reaching the hem of her oh-so-short skirt, she looks and sounds fierce. She may still be the girl-next-door, but she's the ANGRY girl-next-door. I'll go two doors down to borrow flour.

Past "Idol" winners and this season's contestants got a hefty share of attention, starting with first-season winner Kelly Clarkson. She performed her new single "Never Again," with the gritty rock song matched by her black dress and thigh-high boots.

Then, awesomely, Kelly Clarkson hitting the Kodak Theatre stage to sing "Never Again". Kelly's voice is ragged, but the song is the next bitter female anthem. Plus, Kelly sports some seriously sexy thigh high boots.
Since it's the 30th anniversary of the "Summer of Love" (shoot me now), Idol does a tribute to Sgt. Pepper. Highlights include Kelly's asskicking take on the title song and Ruben on "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds". I'm surprised that a) they finally got the rights to Beatles songs and that
they realized that "Penny Lane" and "Strawberry Fields Forever" are not on the album. Good job!

Kelly Clarkson and Joe Perry doing Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band -- surprisingly not bad.
Taylor Hicks doing A Day in the Life, one of my favorite Beatles songs? Come back, Sanjaya, all is forgiven.
Carrie Underwood doing She's Leaving Home? Started OK, turned into a butcher cover.
Ruben does Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds. I officially now have to pull out my copy of this album as an antidote. It's surprising that they didn't turn this whole bit into a Ford commercials.

My girl Kelly Clarkson is up to sing Never Again, in a MUCH better outfit (including killer boots) than the charity night. Clearly I can't comment on the sound tonight. This tv is crap. I do gotta say this is a serious Kelly version of a Alanis Power Pissed Off Ballad. I love it, and I love her curvy normal girl shape.
Right now: AI's tribute to the one and only Sergeant Pepper". Wonder if Randy's coat from last night will show up. Not yet, but Kelly Clarkson and Joe Perry did. And they sound pretty hot. I've said it before: this chick has pipes.

Kelly Clarkson! Awesome! She’s sporting the thigh-hi boots and looking a little vamp-ish but very pretty. However, the boots kind of make her look particularly short. Not that there’s anything wrong with that..but, um, never mind. She sounds great!
