^I go there and I'm graduating this semester, but I'm not in the same major as you are.

Anyway, the pros and cons won't be good for you if we are not in the same major. I think CSULB has one of the greatest programs for the Liberal Studies major. But if you want to learn more about industrial design, check out the website: http://www.csulb.edu/depts/design/

Are you going to commute or stay in the dorms?

i go to csulb. i'm in the nursing program so i don't really go to classes on campus. but the school is okay imo...they have neat events and things, but i'm sure it's the same for other schools. i don't know how it is for your major. sweatingbullets.gif

one of the things i really hate about the school is the parking! so much staff lots in the most convenient places..but general parking is so far from everything. dry.gif

I go there also. I'm currently undeclared but am leaning towards Linguistics. I was going to do nursing but realized it wasn't my thing. Yes, parking is awful, especially after 10:00 AM. *bleh* X_X

^I thought you were talking about your major? lol. Anyway, the school's good. You need to be specific about what it was that you wanted us to tell you then we can help you. I like the school, and you know what? Our school ranked 3rd or something in the state colleges?

You can read more on our school's lifestyle here?
http://www.csulb.edu/divisions/students2/sld/

I dunno how to reply to you unless you're specific about what it is you wanted to know. But the school has a large population of people, so when you go there, expect it to be big, and a lot of people going back and forth from different streets. It is actually smaller than UCI despite the fact that we have more students. I guess we just have enough parkings, but there has been some expansion for parkings though. I just didn't use the new parkings so I wouldn't know how nice they are, but we have an expansion for parkings, so don't worry about the parking part.

well im still a junior in hs, and i went to their kaleidoscope thing they had on saturday, since my cousin from WA is planning on going to LB. the campus is nice, but yea the parking is small and far from the things. The pyramid thing is really cool smile.gif, the computer place there is nice too, the comfortable sofas biggrin.gif haha, and the people are really nice there. That is a calstate i would apply to biggrin.gif

I also wanted to major in Industrial Design at CSULB. I don't currently attend there but I've done a lot of research on it and visited the campus. But I've concluded to it that I can't stick with that major. Simply because the community college I attend right now doesn't even offer half of the pre-requisite courses that I need before going in as a Junior. But now I'm leaning towards Graphic Design. Just hope that you don't as well plan on transferring because I don't think many community colleges offer the pre-requisites that are needed for that major.

I am afraid to go to Cal State Long Beach. Since its so big, and I don't like big confronation. I was thinking of going to LBCC for two years and transfer. Counselor with my grades, I shouldn't have a problem. I was thinking of joining the nursing program. Two more year baby. I be there soon enough.

I am going to be a Junior when school starts. Besides my grandma is forcing me to go there, since its close to the house. >.>
So if I don't get in, its WHAMP!

Though I transferred to CSULB from a community college, I doubt you'll have to write an essay as a freshman undergrad.
