Well, seeing as everyone either got painfully rejected, trapped in Waitlisted hell or accepted into their dream or last choic colleges, we can finally move on with life since we'll be farther away from home....yes...two miles is farther away from home. In anycase...where do you plan to live your single, free life? In the dormitories of the University buildings, or the streets? Condos? or with extended family members?
Do you WANT a roommate? you know apartments costs around 800-1200 for a one bedroom? yeah....consider your choices now...cuz there's no looking back after you make your choice.
Me: I'm getting an apartment...one bedroom, 600 sq ft, for 1000 dollars a month. It's expensive, and i'll probably end up being a hooker of some sort to pay for it, but i'll be danged, it's a gorgeous apartment.
so what's your dream place?

It's required to dorm for the first 2 years, so I'll be dorming. It looks like I'll have to have a roommate too (no singles). I'm the type that much prefers not to have a roommate, but I'll deal with it.
I'm actually getting really excited about decorating it? I'm not sure. I think I'm the only one, because all of my friends are like "blah"

Dorms and meal plans are provided for first years at Davis, so I'll be in the dorms. I was trying to convince my mom to get a singles room because the bathroom is shared by only four people unlike the doubles/triples which is shared between eight to twelve people.
Dorms cost around 10,400 or so for doubles, and 900 more than that for singles.
@_@ I'm dragging my friend with me so we can dorm together.

Freshmen at my college can apply for apartment style (which usually junior and senior can have apartment style) but yep. I am staying at an apartment style which has living room, bedroom, 2 private bathroom (depending which side of the house) and a kitchen.

i want a dorm and roomie- my dream is that we get along great, i don't want a clone or anything but someone who respects my space, ect. (emphasis on dream not nightmare. prefer aparment style but that's more $$$...now that i think about it a single (don't think they have them) would be nice too...
