Little info about "SAIGU" - "Sa-I-Gu" is Korean and it literally translates to 4-2-9. This is the date that the Los Angeles Riots started : April 29th 1992. This year marks the 15th anniversary of the LA Riots. Do you guys even remember this date??? During the riots many businesses were destroyed in LA and many people were killed. There were over $800 million in damages and 53 deaths. We hope that the BBOY event will inform youths of the LA Riots history in hopes of preventing a similar tradjedy.
