I've recently discovered the Japanese band "Ellegarden" and I've fallen in love with them!! It's a shame that they're an indie group; I can't find lyrics for them or aaanything *tear*

Yeah, it does kinda suck that they're still indie. It's so hard to find decent info on them! But there are benefits to that. No annoying fans or something. *shrugs*

i like them!!!
i have nooo idea where to get there music,
but i listen to them on their myspace.
although their music on there, crashed or its not playing on my computer. :[

Ellegarden is not indie..
they got signed onto the Dynamord Label.

I'm so glad Soompiers are not bashing them T.T
every other board seems to be
saying they sound too american blah blah
SO WHAT?
I think they're awesome!

and they DO sound a lot like Simple Plan..
but Ellegarden is BETTER..
WHY?
because they're BIlingual!

OMG! ELLEGARDEN IS SOOO GOOD!! LOL it's funny because i never heard of them but then my friend (Aya on Soompi) sent me Space Sonic and i instantly feel in love with them. They're english is sooo good!! I can't believe that they're not. Which of course is a plus, because bilingual people are cool. LOL I've been going on a downloading spree with their songs. But aren't they Japanese? They're not Indie right?

They're Japanese. The singer grew up in America which is why his English is so good

Hah yeah I got a lot of people into them ^^; Counting Midnight_Crisis up there =P
I love them! Their song Space Sonic got me hooked.
Yeah I agree to me they are one of the best Japanese bands,
too bad they aren't that popular in the US =\ They were suppose to
come to New York.. but I'm not sure if I missed it or not.. I forgot the
date -____-;

yea man! They playing in the Knitting Factory (Club?) But man, on a school night, it's gonna be hard to get my mom to let me go. Yo, I'm still listening to Space Sonic right now. Next songs are gonna be Missing, Red Hot, Snake Fighting, A Thousand Smiles, Butterfly, and the last song on my playlist is Raindrops. >< So addicting!! >< Yes they kick butt!!

I was privilaged enought to see Ellegarden play last night at TT the Bears in Cambridge.

OMFG. If I were to die right now, I could die happy.

I was front and center, literally inches away from Hosomi Takeshi, close enough to get sweat on. There were like, 7 other bands, so Ellegarden only got about a half hour to prefrom. The set list:

After they all hung out and I got autographs and pictues with everyone. Hosomi-san is a real sweetheart and is really friendly. It was really a great time, and I wish I could go to another show.
