so put him to bed, maybe get him a cold towel for his forehead - make some hot porridge or chicken soup (hot foods are best when you're sick!) and a some hot water w/ bit of lemon & honey, or tea. if he has a fever or a headache, some advil or tylenol should help that too. make sure he stays in bed!
goodluck!

my mom makes me eat PLAIN rice porridge (water, already cooked rice, nuthin else)
so that I can get some food in, but its not heavy enough to make me feel worse
and if they are puking, make sure they have a bucket of some sort by their bed...and clean it
nasty job, but its better than leaving it there to stink the room up

if your boyfriend doesn't want you to do anything then...
DONT DO ANYTHING!
people have some serious problems with listening lol.
If someone kept asking you if you wanted anything and you DON'T, wouldn't you get ANNOYED?
be careful, he might break up with you.
so do you just want to know what medicine to use when your sick? cuz if that's the question then you use any medicine that works for you.
This topic is silly.

How is this topic silly?
is it too much to care for that s.o?
to know what she can do to help? it is, after all, the HEALTH, beauty, and fashion section.
she doesn't need relationship advice as to "you're bothering him, stop it, or else he'll break up with you". Now that is silly. Just leave it, and simply answer her question that she needs. if you find it silly, don't bother replying with such hostility.

its not a silly topic!
this can help other people also.
all she asked for are advices...
=] anywayssssssssss.
what i usually make sick friends do is...
drink sprite on some occasion.
drink gatorade.
eat SOMETHING..
take medicine.
SLEEPPPP SLEEEEPPP SLEEEEEPPP
drink lots of water too.
sleeepppp sleeepp sleeeppp.
and leave them alone or stay quiet by their side.
thats the best you can do...sick people need sleep. medicine. gatorade. water. food.
i tend to just eat a lot cause that makes me feel less weak.
and i don't get sick much either.

wth? are you for real?
if her boyfriend says "It's okay" then there isn't anyhting you can do for him! he obviously doesn't want her help....seriously I'm not going to sugar coat the obvious

dude, obviously if he really doesn't want me to do anything .. i think i know that i'm not going to force anything onto him. it doesn't hurt to just know these for FUTURE REFERENCE for anyone BESIDES my boyfriend though. i always ask before i do something .. such as if he wants tea or w/e to make him feel better and if he's firm with his answer, then i don't push it. and i don't know what kind of boys you know or if you're talking about a bad past experience, but my boyfriend isn't a jerk like that to be breaking up with me over that reason
p.s. thanks for those who are understanding.
p.s.s. to her post below:

wow...
Advice:
If someone doesn't ask for your help or refuses it, don't help them.
If you keep asking someone if they need something (harassing them), doing stuff for them that they obviously don't want you to do, then they will get annoyed and they may break up with you.
Future reference: Do you want to know what you should tell someone to take if they are sick? If you don't know then tell them " I don't know, I continue with my normal day and it goes away"
It's not hard.
That's my helpful advice to you

That isn't the point. SHE should know what ticks him off and what doesn't.
And from experience, that isn't the case. If my boyfriend said "it's okay" in her situation, I'd bring in porridge and set it on the table with a little note, for when he wakes up and gets hungry. He'd actually would be very happy to know that I actually CARE. Hello, it's the thought that counts.. and if he broke up with me for the trivial matter, it's not worth it. You sound like a person that doesn't care for much.
Oh yeah, don't just take in the other s.o thoughts, you need to think for yourself as well. for example, she'd be worrying over him, and feels the need to help him.
it's normal.
you're not being helpful at all, you're being an ass, with your suppose "obvious advice".
there's a difference.
i'll end my argument, here.

i disagree.
her bf might get annoyed at her if she keeps doing stuff for him when he asked her not to.
i say just be there for him and probably buy him sweet tidbits and stuff when he's sick.

he was laying in bed (not moving and all)
took a towel and dipped it in warm water so it can cool down his fever a bit..
gave him some medecine
and just stayed by his side checking on him..
i talked to him a lot, to make him forget his sickness and then he fell asleep
the next morning he was up and running...(not really, but he felt a lot better..)
i dont know if it was the right thing to do though..

And for your information BoasBiatchLeo, my ex also said that he was ok...b/c he didn't want to burden me - he had no objections to me caring for him and if he also said no to something firmly, I respected his wishes.
Advice being sick - here are some of the things I do when I'm sick or anyone I know is sick:
As someone who would like to go into medicine, here's some advice....TAKING medicine is not always needed.
If you have:
a fever: take some tylenol, bundle up in warm sweats and go get some sleep (while you're sleeping, you'll get really hot and sweat the fever off - this works wonders ^^). A cool towel to the forehead
an upset stomache: flat coke or sprite will help settle your stomache - just take small sips, don't guzzle it down or anything. Also, hot soup (chicken noodle or plain porridge) will help get something into your stomache w/o weighing it down. Crackers should also help.
sore throat: hot tea with lemon or honey, hot condensed milk diluted with water works also. Gargling with warm salt water I believe is what my doc once told me to do before bed. Also, too many cough drops isn't good for you so substitute them every once in a while with hard candy like starburst hard candy or something.
and as always, LOTS OF REST, clear fluids/juice (gatorade is best to replace all the lovely nutrients you've lost - besides...being dehydrated IS BAD especially when you're sick) and like momo08 has stated, just making them forget they are sick helps too ^^

I would give them a blanket if they're cold if they were in a house .
I would make them some tea or give them water , and some medicine .
You should give them a wet towel and put it on their forehead while they lie down .
Let them take a nap too .
You could also make them soup or porridge (just like my mom does and in all those Kdramas)
Just try to keep them warm ^^
Best you could do there : D
I hope : X

so everytime the ball went out and she tried to run to get it, i'd tell her to stay back and i'd run to get it.
and usually, i'd just ask if she's alright, if she needed water, etc.
