BUT What is you live in Australia? There aren't many contacts down here. Does anyone know if there are companies or anything like Bros ent that works with Korean industries?

If you really want to find the Brothers of Australia, ask around the Koreans you know....I found a few people involved with the industry doing that...
I dunno, just get yourself as ready as you can and try. Good luck, ok

Why don't you just try and get into the australian industry? Does it make that much of a difference? -___-"
It should. Morely, in my eyes, talent quest and recruitments are aimed morely at talent, but in Korea (at least to me), appearance seems to be a heavier factor in recruitment.
Also, the industry you want to work for will, I think, define where you will perform in the future (and with its international ties).
EDIT: This is my opinion/views, non of the above is statistically proven facts lol

Try out for American Idol lol. Late April early May I think for this year's Audition. Just don't do another Flynn, or any other Asian artist who seem to deliberately put themself down to get on T.V, makes me feel like Asians don't have singing talent as in, makes me feel people think Asians have no talent...

-__-" although i truly pity you if you get to the music industry that way...can you say one hit wonder...*looks around for Casey, Guy, who was the latest winner?* the second place people get more fame.
You know it is kinda sad that an asian wouldn't make it big here...but you could always try and prove them wrong =) Be *that* good!

Sorry I really meant Australian Idol up there. American Idol auditions have long pass already if I am correct. But Aus is coming up, they always choose the cold Winter month to Audition...

No offence also but i hated last years idols. I didn't think they could sing especially that whats her name. Lisa? i think her name was. The one with the kiddy airy fairy voice. That year with Casey i wanted Anthony to win. He was so much better. Casey i don't like her singing either.

I dunno! I never seen a great Asian ethnic yet on Aus Idol.
Mum, sister claims this person named Shanelle (?) was Asian, but to me she looked Western more. She didn't have any hint of Asian-ness in her accent. Think she was rank 5 in IDOL "2003" I think. Not sure of the year.

Basically.. if u win in ur city.. u represent ur city in the international competition which is shown all over the world, and u go against other contestants from America, China, Europe ect...
Most of the contestants get noticed by industry figures... and hu knows ... u might become the next Jang Ri In ^^

Really?? I thought that was just a local thing. I saw it in the city near China Town ><". Thought it was something small. I think you have to perform in Chinese from memory.
Jess who?
