im looking for price range <$15.
Qualities: loud, good bass(quality of sound), and that knot where it keeps the wires from tangling.

and please try to provide me with the ones you can get at target or walmart or best buy.
thanks

I think the MX500 sounds better than the ipod ones... and I like the inline volume control.

ANYTHING is better than the stock ipod earbuds dry.gif. I have a pair of sony fontopia's...they have really good bass response. i'm sure you can get those for a decent price.

OMG I was going to recommend that...I have them, and they really keep out a lot of sound...The bass on it is AMAZING too...I change the settings on my Zen, and it's all bass =D

I suggest checking out ebay or amazon.com.. they have some really cheap ones..... (that's where I've got mine) Best buy (canada) usually jacks up the price 2X the manufactors cost (I've worked there before)

I just ordered Marshmallows at Amazon yesterday because of all the great reviews I read. But then I realized that those memory foam earpieces are going to wear out fairly quickly (if any of you use earplugs, they're basically the same), and they only give you one extra pair. x_x

Yea, that's the only problem I had with them...I dropped them in a puddle once, so it got really dirty and I couldn't get the dirt stain off the plugs. I changed the earplugs and they were fine, but I realized that if it happens again, then I'm screwed =x The plugs are kinda big too, sometimes I have to shove them in my ear laugh.gif but the sound quality is great =)

^ Yeah it feels like you're ruining your ears when you shove them in so far sleep.gif
Anyway, the quality is great, the wires are alright.. they dont get tangled easily, but since they're white, they tend to get a little grubby. With the earpieces.. they only give an extra set. I've been using my first (original) set since January-ish. So around 4 months. They get a little dirty but you can't wash them or anything.. but yeah, it turns hard and get smaller, therefore falls out of your ears. smile.gif However, overall I like them.

Koss KSC-75's. Best headphones under $100 (heck, under $20), period, and EASILY modded to boot!

Only problem is they may not fit over your ears. But really, it's a small price to pay for such excellent sounding headphones!
And they don't have a "knot" that keeps the wires from tangling, I don't think, but since I have no idea what you're talking about and am just guessing, you should look at them for yourself.
