Aspirin is super cheap over in the US but does anyone know where I could get good value aspirin here in the UK? I know it won't be as cheap as in the US, but I'm willing to spend that little bit more and I'd doubt it'll be more costly than all the other product I've tried before. So yeah, any recommendations??

"Desperate teens may be putting themselves in danger to get rid of acne with a remedy now being passed around the internet.
Parents need to warned that the aspirin mask is a homemade concoction that could be of serious concern for young acne sufferers because under certain circumstances this self treatment can result in coma and death.
Since, the aspirin mask is a home remedy, it has not been thoroughly researched and approved, so unless the treatment is monitored closely by a physician, any benefit this treatment offers may not be worth the risk for several reasons:
Reye's Syndrome
Using aspirin treat viral infections such as flu, or the chicken pox under the age of 20, can cause a condition called, Reye's syndrome that could result in brain damage, coma, and death.
However, since parental education about the syndrome in the ‘80s there has been a sharp decline in the number of reported cases of Reye's...but the introduction of the flu, chicken pox, and meningitis vaccines has caused many parents to be less concerned about the incidence of Reye's.
However...don't be fooled by a false sense of security.
The problem is...not all viruses are eradicated by vaccines, so there is a chance that a teen may continue use of the aspirin mask until it's determined that their cold is actually a flu which will eventually be accompanied by fever, chills, and misery.
Better safe than brain dead is my motto."
I don't think anybody has been affected by the asprin mask yet, so I'm still tempted to try it!

it really makes ur skin smooth instantly and sure does make the pimples go away
but recently i noticed that after using it the day after i would have puffy eyes... i'm not sure if
i developed some allergic reaction to it, bcoz some people are allergic to aspirin; or whether i'm not careful enough that
i accidently put some aspirin paste around my eye (w/c is not suppose to be don)...so just be careful
and yeah, i learned it from MICHELLE, i watched her video...

It made my skin a lot smoother, prevented breaking out into acne and my mom said that there were less white bumps :S so I suppose its getting rid of the bumps making the skin smoother? but still need to work on the scars...

FOR ALL OF YOU GETTING A SERIES OF WHITEHEADS AFTER A COUPLE 4DAYS,
I think its the kind of sugar in the honey you are using (like you know chocolate sugar stuff makes your hormones and skin increase [read in a teenvogue article])
you should actually go buy the real deal honey stuff like burts bee at sephora
yes it did happen to me too when i just random a random honey bottle from the shelf (used for cooking/eating DUH!stupid me , of course theres sugar in it to make food taste better -__-")
FOR ALL THE SENSITIVE SKIN WHO ARE GETTING PUFFY SKIN, OR RED BLEMISHES,
1)you're scrubbing too much in vain to get of all the blackhead and pimples,
just leave it on (JUST WARM SHOWER and let the heat open ur pores to let it sink in easily, try not to get your face wet)
2)Try aloe gel mix in it to relieve the skin to reduce puffiness
3)You definitely leave the mask on too long, like I saw earlier, the chemical substance can "eat" the layer of your skin off if you leave in on for too long
[everyone probably thinks their skin is soft because the aspirin chemicals just ate off the dead/dry skin layer, so the new layer is fresh and soft]
DIDN'T RICEBUNNY say leave it on for 15 min?
FOR THE ONES WHO SAY IT DOESN'T DO MUCH ANYMORE
1) You have been using this product too much, your skin is getting used to it, therefore the chemicals doesnt effect you anymore,
Just like Proactive and any other product, most skins tend to get used to it and become somewhat immune if the chemicals aren't strong enough. E.G if you stop using Proactive your skin will explode with pimples again because the skin was used to the benyzol peroxide. FOR THIS ASPIRIN MASK, i mean c'mon its cheap aspirins so it isn't as strong as the expensive proactive, so too much use of it, you're skin will become immune
>>just stop using it for awhile and perhaps sacrifice a couple days of acne, and then continue using it again but only like maybe only 2-3 times a week NON-CONSECUTIVELY
2) youre probably putting too much water and the crushed aspirin isn't even sticking on your face
I really think this DIY product works, but results vary for different types of skin and different methods of using and making it.
Just experiment a little on the wrist (don't be lazy now!) see what works with you
I'm going back to using it.
good luck to all of us in search for better skin

If you guys start getting lots of whiteheads and whatnot following the use of this, it means it's working. Your skin's trying to push out all of the crap beneath it
However, I was on MUA reading reviews, and one person said that using this too often is really bad because the aspirin enters your bloodstream (even through topical use on skin). Can anyone confirm this? I didn't find much info on this aspect of it

I really want to try it.
I'm no where near the age of 20 though. =/
Should I try it with maybe those child-safe aspirin?
I was really excited, until I got to the Reye's Syndrome part. o_o
