so a question to people who have used this, does this remove pimple scars and do you guys use your own toner/moisturizer?

my experiences make me believe that yes, this fades pimple scars somewhat if you are patient, and yes I do use my own toner (Neutrogena) and moisturizer (which I substitute with bio-oil).=]

The first time I tried it a while back, made no difference, but this time, for some reason, I am really impressed! (used more aspirin and changed to no-name brand honey)
Even the girl who rents a room in our house who giggled at my aspirin coated face said "it really works!" and reached out to feel my skin lol. Obviously I still don't have perfect skin but it's really made a big difference - pores much smaller, skin is tighter, lighter, less oily.
And honestly most things don't work for me, but this DIY has worked (also try the egg white mask, it works too) - at least for oily type skin.

Thank you so much for this thread...this mask surprisingly worked!
I've only been using 3 tablets and non-brand honey, i think if i use toner it'll dry out my skin too much. But i ended up totally breaking out and i tried the mask and it slowed everything down, now its healing...at least i hope they are.
Thanks again so much! life saver!!

is honey required or can you use water instead? i mean, does honey yield better results? i've been wanting to try this since last year, but never got around to it. my mummy would freak if i told her to pick up some aspirin for me to rub on my face. sleep.gif and all the uncoated aspirin is like $7 at my local cvs! wth! the world is against me having good skin! =(

I think the honey is suppose to soften your skin afterwards.

yea i think so too
i tried it with just water at first and then honey, and it did seem smoother afterwards....you can also use milk (i think)

wow!! $7 for aspirin, that really sucks! i got mine at walgreens for 99 cents..i was actually surprised how cheap it was, i thought it was marked wrong

if you wear makeup, do you cleanse your face w/ another cleanser first?
or straight to the aspirin mask?

It does cleanse, but it shouldn't be used as a cleanser as in an everyday, night and day cleanser.

You don't have to clean beforehand.

Don't worry about your oily skin, trying to get the oil off makes it worse, just cleanse as usual.

ok, so i tried this mask and may i say it was 100% amazing! there was a very noticeable difference! i also tried it on my BF and he has VERY sensitive skin that will react unkindly to anything that does not agree with his skin type. the affects of this mask were most noticeable on him! his skin tone was even and moisturized, no spotchy areas at all!

thanks for posting this simple (and cheap!) mask recipe! i would recommend this to anyone looking for an affective and wallet friendly skin regime!

Sorry, I just saw this. blush.gif

When I started using this I had three small pimples on my left cheek, two tiny pimple scars on my chin, and those little flesh colored bumps on my forehead.

Now all of that is gone, even the two little scars (they had been there for about a month, and this took them right away).

I'm very happy with my skin now. =] I hope this works for you, too.

So far, I've done this twice the past three days. After the first time I noticed my skin was a lot softer. After the second or third time I noticed my acne scars being less visible. So far I'm pleased with the results. I'm going to change it up and start going either once a day or 4 times a week because I won't have enough time since school is starting but will continue to post some results.

WOW reading all of your accounts give me hope! I REALLY hope that this works for me :[ I just had a huge breakout (even one on my nose) so I have like a big SCAR right on top of it. It makes me feel really embarrassed! Anyway, I'm going to try this!
DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THEY SELL THESE PRODUCTS IN LONGS DRUGS STORES? I live near one and I want to buy all the products (honey, aspirin, etc.) all in one go.

I gave this a try and I must say I'm definitely impressed with the results. All scars are actually lighter and face is beginning to even out! Thanks.

After about 2 months of not doing a mask I managed to do this two days ago.
Instantly made my skin look cleaner (IMO) and fresher =]

Instead of panadol, I asked if I could panamax but another user advised not to (because they are made up for different things).

So I wouldn't suggest using panadol, use actual aspirin (:
